Hi Alex. I should be going. From the S-H member list, there doesn't appear to be that many UK-based/Brit fans (I am Malaysian but I live in Sheffield!) but I am sure there are many lurking around.

Most Japanese acts play the O2 in Islington which is small (but intimate!) but I do hope the number of fans who'd wanna go be enough for the promoters to bump it up to something like the Shepherds Bush Empire or the Eventim Apollo!

If I'm still in France during their Wolrd Tour in Europe and I not too busy with my internship, I'll go to London too even if I'm in France :D

I hope to go !
They had to move Babymetal to a bigger venue as there was such a huge demand for tickets, I think Scandal could be the same.

I have been waiting for them to come to UK for years now, and now it's finally gonna come true.. I'm never gonna miss this chance to see them. I already missed L'arc En Ciel and set to miss One OK Rock as well..  (T^T)

I'll definitely be going. My friend and I have most ticket websites saved in our favourites on our phone, ready for ordering them as soon as they're announced!

I imagine they'll play the Apollo Eventim as it's a decent sized venue. I doubt they'll play anything bigger, as they don't have a massive UK following in comparison to someone like BabyMetal. I bought tickets for BabyMetal and wasn't surprised when they moved the venue to The Forum, as these girls had a lot of hype from UK magazines such as Kerrang and Metal Hammer.

On the flip side, because of the lack of European dates on the SCANDAL world tour, I imagine many people from other countries will travel to see them. I'm even considering a trip to France to see them for a second time.

Failing all this, I'm moving to Japan next year, so I'll no doubt see them there  Hug

The O2 Islington!

Why am I not surprised. I think most of the Japanese acts that come to these shores play at this venue.

Glad to see they are playing on a Sunday too. I think it's time to buy an O2 SIM card so that I can qualify for an O2 pre-sale... hehe.

Can I solicit your help to get a ticket during pre-sale if it's possible ?  Shy

Yours faithfully

It doesn't look like they'll be doing O2 priority tickets as they've opened it up to the b7Klan ticket website.

Although things are starting to get a little confusing. All of the posters for the world tour are telling us to use TicketMaster. However with the announcement of "Hi Touch" tickets for £60, they're linking to the b7Klan website.

Now is this because French people use this website to purchase tickets normally? Or is this the website we need to use if we want "Hi Touch" tickets?

Where are you guys ordering your tickets from?

Posters? I went to the Ticketmaster site and there was zilch for SCANDAL. And the actual O2 Academy Islington website still has the 26 April slot empty!

I'm trying out the b7klan site for the hi-touch one. If it doesn't crash. Tongue

My mistake! I misread the part that said "Tickets Soon Available" in my haste :p

I tried using the b7klan website today as a practice for ordering tickets, and obviously the website is in French. This is going to get complicated.

Like you, I also tested using the Deathgaze tickets site on b7klan.

Click worldwide.
Then on the ticket page at the bottom are two icons - UK and Spanish flags, click UK, and the whole thing becomes English.

Worst case scenario - copy/paste the whole thing on Google Translate hahaha. (Do that every time I buy from the Kitty Shop to buy SCANDAL stuff...) ^^

Where do you guys find this information about tickets?
Neither the official website nor their Facebook page mentions anything about where to buy tickets yet.

Is that a well known and respected site? How come it's not on the SCANDAL website?

I cannot vouch for the promoter but these guys are known to have brought in a number of J-rock/pop acts to European venues in the past, like the ONE OK ROCK show in London last year.

I have to admit OOR had their tickets sold by O2 themselves at the same time b7klan sold theirs, and I bought my OOR tix from O2. Thus far, O2 has no sign of a date for the ticket sale.

And to answer your question why it ain't on the SCANDAL site - who knows. I am a tad worried myself but if these guys had brought bands in for a few years already, the likelihood of this being a scam is potentially low.

I have tickets for ONE OK ROCK in Copenhagen, and when I was looking for places that sold tickets there where sites that charged ridiculous prices. But then I found a link to a seller on their official Facebook page that had normal prices. So since then I am a bit cautious when it comes to scalpers and such. That's why I prefer official information.

I see where you are coming from. Again, I am not associated with b7klan, nor am I receiving any commission from them (haha), these guys appear to be the ticketing arm of a French promoter who specialises in bringing in Japanese groups to play venues in Europe. They have a roster of previous J-bands that came to Europe prior to this.

The quoted price for the London show is GBP35 which is pretty much what I paid for OOR last year.

And on the balance of probabilities, with a roster of previous acts (I was aware of b7klan from last year when OOR came to London), they do not seem to be scalpers. Scalpers would charge us at least GBP70-80 (or more) for a standard ticket.

The GBP60 price tag for VIP is a lot. But that's what you pay for the privilege. This year's OOR meet n great alone was GBP75 on top of the ticket price. My hi touch SCANDAL tickets for Singapore last year was a great deal more than the normal tickets.

Like you, I too have slight reservations - especially when the actual SONY website for SCANDAL has no further info. It may well be by Wed 1200 Paris time, it may well light up with an active URL link to the ticketing site. Who knows. Let's hope so, anyway.

I guess there is nothing to do but wait and see. Unless tickets get sold out in a matter of hours I think it will be fine. I'm not even sure I can go, as I would have to fly from Sweden to London just for a concert. Normally I wouldn't do that, but this is SCANDAL after all.
