Yes i was somewhat concerned with just putting up sensetive information but thought I'd throw the idea out there for comments.

I think a facebook group would be pretty sweet, would like to add a few of you on fb too. Alternatively we can set it up via email and drop box and we can share an excel document with first name, Scandal heaven user name, email and London contact telephone number

I have created the group in FB. I made it a secret group for now more for privacy, really. You can PM me your FB ID if you like and from there if you know any other SH members who wants in, they can add these people themselves.

I wouldn't mind about the group on FB but honestly i hardly check it...but if you guys decided to do it, count me in!

Just changed to FB group to closed. I think by making it secret, you can't see it even with the URL above (I think!).

I can see it now, sent a request :D

Hmm well for those of you travelling to London it may be worth while buying a guide book if you are planning to stay for a few days.

Key locations to visit I would suggest are:
Tower of London
St Pauls Cathedral
Tate Modern (museum)
The Shard (Tallest building designed by Renzo Piano building workshop but access to the top is circa £25)
British Museum
and if you really have time - Olympic park

These are relatively easy to travel to and from with good underground train service connections.

I just found on youtube how the Hi-Touch is going to look like =)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EHlJfVFKW30

It’s a video ! And it’s an amateur video ! So , maybe we can still hope for the best . . . But wait . . . Handshake is allowed ?!?!?! This is true ? OMG ! So , will we also have a possibility to do something like this ? Imagine – to make a handshake with Mami-san ! And with Tomomi-san ! And with Rina-san ! And with Haruna-san ! We all need to cross our fingers for this !

maharizm

I guess that other participants of this thread should call you a sempai , because your advices is extremely valuable !
But please excuse me because I made a mistake and wasn’t expressing my thoughts clearly enough . Talking about platforms 1 to 4 and A and B , I was thinking not the Luton Airport Parkway station , but St. Pancras International . But please , don’t worry about me . I guess that there should be an information center there .

I don't know what London will be like, but the band may still forbid any photos and it all depends if the venue's security will enforce it or not.

Yes , I understood about this . So , there is about 99,99% possibility that photos and videos will be restricted , but hope dies the last . But I guess that SCANDAL members don’t really care if they are filmed or pictured . They are captured in countless photos and videos almost every day , so I think they are not oppose if fans will have their pictures on own devices . This is probably strange actions from organizers and especially “Sony Music” . Actually , I could never understand something like this . The only reason I can think of is that flashes during the live can be bothersome for the band . But don’t worry , I have no intensions to do something inappropriate . I guess that the best tactics would be to watch how other people are doing and do the same .
But let’s walk from the another side : will there be at least OFFICIAL photos/videos available after the event ? I really would like to have at least some documentary evidence of it .

and in Japan, Japanese fans don't really take photos at gigs

At the September of last year , after 10 years 2 months and 27 days of constant waiting , I finally had a great honour to visit Beautiful Japan . I was very lucky , because in one of the days J-Pop/kawaii festival “Moshi – Moshi Nippon – 2014” had happened . During the concert almost all spectators – Japanese or foreigners – were holding devices in their hands and making photos/videos , even despite the fact that it was officially restricted . During the break , one of Japanese securities was walking in front of the scene with the poster with crossed photo camera on it , but people , protesting against it , started to make pictures of him , so he was disappointed and walked away .
It’s interesting , that I’ve become fan of SCANDAL exactly because of “Moshi-Moshi Nippon – 2014” . No , don’t worry , SCANDAL wasn’t participating . There were mainly aidoru groups . Personally , I usually don’t like aidoru groups , because their music is not so deep and complicated for me . But there was one group that I liked . The name of it was “Silent Siren” . So , after returning back to Latvia I started to search for their videos in the Internet . And , as you know , YouTube usually suggests similar inquiries . So , it was always suggesting SCANDAL videos for me . I was interested what SCANDAL is , and started to watch their performances . This is how I’ve become familiar with their creative works . At the beginning I only liked them . But I started to become more serious fan , when I started to watch their interviews and understood how truly they are devoted to what they  are doing . Despite outer shine and glitter , they all are really serious and complicated persons . By saying serious I don’t mean gloomy or something like this , but just wanted to express how many efforts they are putting in their songs and how much they believe in their calling .
By the way , during my great visit to the Beautiful Japan , I was in Odaiba at one of the days . And , without even knowing it , I was walking at the same place , where SCANDAL members went out from the taxi and went to the hall at their Zepp Tour . And I even made a picture of this place ! I was so happy when I find it out ! That’s why right now I’m really happy , but also a little bit ashamed . I know that there are many people who are waiting for ages , but still have no possibility to visit SCANDAL live . I’ve became a fan less than half a year ago – and I already have real possibility to do it . I really apologize .

And don't be shy, this is a rare opportunity. Ganbare yo. Good luck!

I need to think very carefully . It is difficult to imagine something that will make sense . Maybe , I can say“ コンサート は   とても   うつくしかったです。”? It’s clear that we will not be allowed to make any questions . It’s sad , because I really wanted to find out  what is their favourite anime . Yes , Mami-san has “Bleach” , but what about other girls ? Is it ok to show them my passport ? It has Japanese landing permission in it , so they will understand , that I’ve also visited their Fatherland .

Perhaps a closed Facebook page?

I will try to send you PM , if I will understand how to do it . According to schedule , my airplane shall arrive at Luton airport at 6:45 , but , if I need to buy cheap train ticket , I need to have a big time gap between plane and train in case if airplane will be late . So , I’m going  leave Luton at about 11:00 . In London I will need to find a shop in order to buy a food/drink , so I hope to take my position in the queue at about 13:00 .Sorry , I have one question the can be considered as impolite . What about using public toilets ? I mean , if I will go to the toilet , I will lose my place at the queue . In Eastern Europe we can ask a person behind us to look after our place while we’re out for a bit . Do people in Western Europe have the same tradition ?

After the concert  I’m planning to take a train that departs from St. Pancras Intl at 00:44 , so I will have enough time for after-concert activities . Can you , please , tell me , when the common photo will be taken , because I don’t want to miss it . If handshake at hi-touch session will really be allowed , at picture we all can show our hand shaked by SCANDAL  members and in this way show special respect for the band . As a fans , we shall always have  the ideas about how to support SCANDAL or promote them worldwide .

Handshake is allowed ?!?!?! This is true ?

It is a high-touch event. Hence, you will have physical contact with them (not trying to sound pervy here but you know what I mean), one high-5 and that's it, off you go. You won't have time to like a proper handshake where you really can say ten sentences of why you love the band, as security will usher you away quick. As I said before, get your best 5-word greeting in your head before you see them.

I did for the hi touch in 2013. But when TIMO said to me HIIIIIIIIIIIIII!!! in Singapore I just went blublbubllublbub. True story. I redeemed myself the following night though. *phew*

I hope to take my position in the queue at about 13:00.

You may try but the O2 has a policy with queuing too early at the venue as this will cause inconvenience to the shoppers (the venue is in a shopping complex). Please see the event details here: http://www.o2academyislington.co.uk/event/72629/scandal-tickets

Can you , please , tell me , when the common photo will be taken , because I don’t want to miss it .

I missed the one in Singapore lol. But personally I don't know when/how/if it's happening but it'd be great to do one as they do in Japan (there are some of S-H members too but I can't remember where I saw them). This collage of SCANDAL MANIA fan photos is from MAMI's tweet back in Sept 2014 during their residency gigs at Akasaka and Osaka:

Yes , yes , but it has the same meaning : expression of greeting and respect . By the way , according to Japanese tradition , should we show signs of special respect to Haruna-san as an official leader of the band ? Or the same admiration for each member would be enough ?

As I said before, get your best 5-word greeting in your head before you see them.

I’m not very good in greetings . But I will try to do my best . It is a responsibility of every serious otaku to behave properly in front of anime heroes ! And we should always remember that SCANDAL members are humans and anime heroes at the same time . Really a unique destiny . There is not so many people like this in our world .

I did for the hi touch in 2013. But when TIMO said to me HIIIIIIIIIIIIII!!! in Singapore I just went blublbubllublbub. True story.

So , she was talking with you ? Sugoi ! I guess that it is something like receiving a blessing . Maybe , she recognized you because you visited SCANDAL shows more than once . Japanese people have extremely good memory .

You may try but the O2 has a policy with queuing too early at the venue as this will cause inconvenience to the shoppers (the venue is in a shopping complex).

Yes , I was  reading about this , but they were talking about “few hours” , what is quite inexact . It can as well be 3 or 9 . So , I think , arriving at the middle of the day is more or less ok .

Btw , I understand , that song list will be top-secret until the very event . And , of course , we cannot influence choice of songs in any way . But it still will be very important to find out about expectations . Personally , my favourite song of SCANDAL is “Burn” . If they decide to play it  , I will definitely fly upon the crowd . Also really hope for compositions like :
SCANDAL BABY
Switch
EVERYBODY SAY YEAH ! /and Tomomi-san will nearly miss her vocal part/
SHOUJO S
Harukaze
LOVE SURVIVE
Namida no regret
Queens are trumps
Hello Hello
Kill the Virgin
Don’t Say Lazy /it’s ok to bring Nakagawa Shoko too/
Shunkan Sentimental
Onegai Navigation
HOUKAGO 1H
Taiyou to Kimi ga Egaku STORY

And yes , is it ok to bring lighters ? If SCANDAL decide to play “Switch” , we all can kneel and turn on the lighters . I think that it will be very serious support . Sometimes fans also make posters with song names , inviting the band to sing it . Is it possible at SCANDAL gigs ? Well , actually , I will not be able to take something like this at the airplane , so it’s just an interest . Also , I know that many Japanese artists , during their overseas tours , sometimes pose for photographers  at the stage with their fans on the background . Is there any possibility that SCANDAL will do something like this ? It would be really great !

Nope. That was my first show. During the high touch line up, security told me to wait a while as the people in front of me went to meet the girls. So, when the security let me pass, I was the first to arrive from my section, and the first person that greeted me was TIMO. PURE luck.

There's no need for that. Greet her exactly in the same way as you would the other members.

I would advise you to not bring a lighter. Not only are they potentially dangerous, but having lighters at a SCANDAL live just isn't something that's done. About the posters/signs, I would also advise against it because it's not going to work, haha. SCANDAL does not take fan requests at lives.

Also , I know that many Japanese artists , during their overseas tours , sometimes pose for photographers  at the stage with their fans on the background . Is there any possibility that SCANDAL will do something like this ? It would be really great !

I've seen SCANDAL three times overseas so far (USA) and they've never taken a picture with the crowd. It's possible that they might for this tour, but we won't really know until the first show in Paris.

I haven't posted in this thread before, but my group of 10 from the US will be heading out to London (as well as to Paris, and a few to Germany), so we'll see you guys there!

Further information about the London show which I received via e-mail today:

Torpedo Productions wrote:
"Hi-Touch" VIP ticket gets access to a meet and greet but there is no autograph or photo session.

Photo and video and sound recording are strictly prohibited.

You can put gifts at the merchandising stall inside of the live house.

We will take care and give them to the artist after the show.

So there you have it. Also, as a bit of friendly advice, I'd probably refrain from doing what the girls in the previously posted video did at their Hi-Touch event. If security catches you, it's not worth the hassle. They may just ask you to stop recording, or it could be worse with them removing you from the queue, forcing you to delete your footage, and ejecting you from the event. I'm a professional gig photographer, and I've seen it happen on more than one occasion. Leave your cameras and phones in your pocket!

No, no, I e-mailed asking for clarification on the Hi-Touch event. They're basically saying it's a standard "Hi-Touch" format with no meet and greet (meet and greet is usually a chance to have things signed etc)

I think it was for clarification. In the West "Hi-Touch" isn't a common phrase, while "meet and greet" is a little bit clearer. Perhaps if only a small number of Hi-Touch tickets were sold for the London show, we may get more than a second or two with the girls.

Here's hoping!

That's why a hi touch sesh is more profitable. At the speed a fan gets to high five the girls, you can sell half the venue's capacity as VIP. I have been to a meet n greet with Incubus and there were about 10 of us. Comfortable and no rush when it comes to having a conversation with the band.

Hey guys. I have a question. According to someone's post, if we want to give gifts, we have to give them to the staff and they will give them to the girls but, is this for everyone or only for regular ticket ? I mean, for France, VIP tickets are going to be able to give their gifts to the girl during the Hi-touch. If anyone can e-mail them and ask .

And also, what's the difference between "Hi-touch" and "Meet&greet" you were talking about ? For me, "Hi-touch" is hi5 and you don't have time to talk with them whereas "Meet&greet" is you meet them and a little bit with them. We talked a little bit with torpedo (FR) and they told us that in France, is going to be a "Hi-touch" but you are going to have time to greet them.

I'm sorry if someone has already answered to that question

I think hybrid3415 has alluded to the English phraseology used. If the numbers of VIP tix sold were many, and I doubt it'll be 20 pairs of tix - hence, a real meet 'n' greet at the venue is unlikely.

The promoters are right about greeting at a high touch - it doesn't take long to say thanks or 'great show!' as you walk by them. So, technically it ain't false advertising. IMHO.

To get an idea of what songs they're playing at the Japan performances right now, you can find the (supposedly) correct set list for the first night of the tour here:

Sorry , I didn’t notice it . I will keep my eyes on that thread from now on too . About a list : very worthy one . It even has “Shunkan Sentimental” ! I hope that Tomomi-san will make everybody happy with her famous headbanging . Really , watching “Shunkan Sentimental” video (Nanka Buttobase version) , it’s easy to imagine that she plays death metal . Actually , it would be interesting to see SCANDAL playing something extremely heavy someday , but I understand that possibility is very low .
It’s quite sad that there is no LOVE SUVIVE , because this song has a couple of short moments of complete silence in it , so it could be the best time for jumping and screaming “MAMI !!!” as loud as possible . But who knows , maybe SCANDAL will prepare some surprises for the international part of the tour .

About the posters/signs, I would also advise against it because it's not going to work, haha. SCANDAL does not take fan requests at lives.

But what about encore ? Is it also decided before the event ?

hybrid3415

I'd probably refrain from doing what the girls in the previously posted video did at their Hi-Touch event.

I think that we should praise them like a heroes because their brave action gave as an idea about what hi-touch looks like . But don’t worry , I promise that I will not even dream about making photos/videos . British securities is well-known in Europe as very aggressive ones . As I already said , I have no interest in leaving event too early after making 1600 km from Riga to London . Seeing SCANDAL live is , actually , more than enough . But is it at least ok to make pictures of England around the place (sounds like beginning of paranoia) ? So , what would be better :
1 ) Put photo camera in the pocket (safe , but there is some possibility that it will accidentally turn on (it happened once) ;
2 ) Put it in the back-pack and leave in the cloakroom (looks more preferable for me right now) ?

Resuming : looks like that we will understand how London hi-touch looks like only when it’ll start . But probably it will like in the video . Sad that people hardly have time to say “Mata ne” , but we cannot be bothersome ; it will be few hundreds of VIPs , so it’s impossible to make dialogue with everyone  .

Unlike some bands who make their set list on the spot, SCANDAL tends to have a setlist that is pre-determined, taking into consideration what they think the fans wanna listen.

For example, they are promoting their current album, so the current shows have a heavy HELLO WORLD content. They may include a greater number of older songs for the international shows - like the ones I have been two years ago, it felt like a 'Best Of..' set including songs like Shōjo S and Kagerō (then again their current album at that time was a compilation of old B-sides!), yet the show I went to two days ago had only a handful of old stuff.

For the people who will do the whole Europe tour.
And or planning to stay a little longer.

I was talking about renting a castle back in America...
So maybe we could rent a castle, It would take 24 people.

I know Im way to late with this info.

Its just a suggestion, It would be +- 100 euro P.P.
It would most probable be in Belgium. Maybe for after the show in Germany.
Or in between the shows of Londen and Essen...

I was just thinking, it would be awesome with you guys.

Sorry for the late reply again ! But I was busy with high level madness dedicated to anime : I was watching news in opposite direction , walking around myself and falling from the floor . But now I’m done with it and back .
I wanted to ask a question about gifts . As far as I understand , we are allowed to bring gifts and left it on the table . Can anybody , please , tell more about it ? For example : can we bring only one gift , or one gift for each member is also ok ? Is it allowed for gifts to be packed ? Can we attach something like gift card or fan letters ?
As I’m from Latvia , I have an idea to bring book about Latvia in Japanese language . I also had an idea to bring special gift for Mami-san – dakimakura with one of “Bleach” heroes . But I refused from it because dakimakura is too big and I would need a whole airplane seat for it and , unfortunately , this is too expensive .
Btw , another good news : I’ve got a notification from our local anime shop that my SCANDAL t-shirt has arrived ! Here is a page of a t-shirt on anime shop web site : http://anime-san.lv/index.php?route=product/product&path=77_78&product_id=730 . It’s interesting that representative of the shop made an interesting mistake , calling SCANDAL album “Hell World” instead of “Hello World” . Imagine that SCANDAL decided to call their album “Hell World” . Well , if Hatsune Miku has an album called “Planetary Suicide” , then why SCANDAL cannot have “Hell World” ?
But I will need to wait a few days in order to take t-shirt because anime shop is in the another part of the city .

If it'll be anything like the ones in Japan and the one they had when they were in Hawaii, there will be a large box possibly located by the entrance of the venue that'll be marked with something like "SCANDAL Present Box." You can bring as many gifts as you want and give them whatever you'd like (except for any food items).

If you're thinking of giving them a letter, you should submit it to our Fan Letter Projects. Happy
