Say hello to SH's HELLO WORLD layout and banners!

Firstly, the staff and I would like to apologize profusely for the extreme lateness of finally getting this layout up and running. Busy schedules are the main reason for this lateness. I hope that this will be the latest a layout will ever be put up!

This layout was largely designed by mc, with d3nise and yours truly tweaking and doing a vast amount of configuring and designing as well. This time we went for a simpler theme/design in contrast to our rather elaborate layout for Yoake no Ryuuseigun.

Also, congrats to joon and myself (haha) for winning the banner contest!

We have a neat little addition where you can pick which banner you want to display by clicking on the corresponding small banner. If the banners are not showing up/it's blank, try clearing your cookies/cache.

There is also a chatbox (not to be confused with the Shoutbox) located at the bottom of the main page. The difference this time is that you don't need to register another account for it; you only need to be logged in to your SH account and press the "Log In" button on the chatbox to gain access.

The biggest change for this layout is I have decided to change the ShoutBox. I know a lot of people loves and has made lots of memories with the ShoutBox, but I think it's time to replace it now. 

So why replace it? 

In the ShoutBox, in order for a member to use it, the admins must register them first. So they would have to PM us their passwords for the SB. This is a lot of work for the admins, specially the busy ones. So what happens is the registration either gets delayed or be forgotten completely. Peeps have been messaging me about registrations, even some that I met personally told me about it.

So instead of this long process, I've decided to finally scrap this system. So instead of manually registering members and using a separate application for the shoutbox, why not just use the built-in chatbox system of this forum. This way any registered members can use it now without getting delayed or forgotten.

I know the old members will miss the SB, but this is to be fair also with the new members. Hope everyone adjust soon with this change.

Great surprise when I logged this morning ! The layout is really great .wow. Plus, adding the small banners is a good idea, it's easier to pick one (you don't have to click on every button to find your favourite).

Just discovering it, thanks for your hard work guys! A bit late but hey it's a busy month and in the end it's not a huge problem of course !

It looks fantastic an the banners are very lovely thanks to all the winners and people who made on for the contest .hail.

About the chatbox thanks for your work. I didn't really use the old one but yeah it seems it was a huge bother for the admins. Hopefully people will like this one and everything will be improved for the admins too now!

I'm really happy with this new lay-out. With the old one I could barely read the text at the bottom of the threads (for example, to browse different pages) because it became camouflaged in the background. I'm glad this one has a monochrome background, and it has a really warm feel as well. I still have to experience some other changes like the already mentioned chatbox and the banners - I guess I have to clear the cookies for the latter to appear. But I assume it will be alright. I don't mind the lateness at all, so good job and a cup of hot chocolate to anyone involved in the process of making this brand new theme.

Yes I will miss the old ShoutBox but at the same time I understand what mc is saying and the mods already do a great job, we dont want to make more work for them and I love the new layout.

Looks great! I really like the orange color and the new font (used in everything besides actual post content).

I cannot find chatbox in mobile version yet, I can switch in classic mode and open chatbox but it become too small for my phone. 

I just found a link for full screen chatbox https://www.scandal-heaven.com/chatbox/index.forum but still too small and no auto fit resize for mobile/phone

Ooooo looks great! From the colours and patterns to the fact that you can see the avatar of the most recent poster.

I did notice one glitch, however. I believe the forum icons for Popular Topic (half a plus sign) and New Post Topic (yellow star) are switched around.

I've fixed them so that the plus sign = New Post while the star = Popular, but they're still switched around in the Icon Legend on the bottom of the forum pages and I have no idea why. Maybe mc can figure it out?

The new layout is really nice and clean plus, it doesnt take too much time to load everything! Congrats to the people who contributed to make this!

I like it simple and I would've liked to look at it more if the icons don't look stretched out.
