You're most likely better at Japanese than I am though. Tongue I haven't even started studying how to read Hiragana T_T I have presentations and exams this week and next week Sigh

Damnit you guys LOL. I'm so jealous T_T I don't have anything of theirs yet since my parents hate it when I buy things online and I had to beg them to let me go to the AM2 con. I hope the vendors/dealers there will have some AKB48 stuff. Dx

Senbatsu Sousenkyo 2011 results were announced today at Nippon Budokan.

Maeda Atsuko took the crown while last year's crown holder Yuko Oshima came second.

Here's the elected senbatsu members list in full.

1) Maeda Atsuko
2) Oshima Yuko
3) Kashiwagi Yuki
4) Shinoda Mariko
4) Watanabe Mayu
6) Kojima Haruna
7) Takahashi Minami
8) Itano Tomomi
9) Sashihara Rino
10) Matsui Reina
11) Miyazawa Sae
12) Takajo Aki
13) Kitahara Rie
14) Matsui Jurina
15) Minegishi Minami
16) Kasai Tomomi
17) Akimoto Sayaka
18) Sato Amina
19) Yokohama Yui
20) Masuda Yuka
21) Kuramochi Asuka

Pretty much expected the top 2 already, but Yukirin's rise to 3rd this time round is impressive.

Will you be attending their upcoming concert in 15thMay?!
Sorry for the very late reply, I didn't manage to attend their 15th May concert but I'll try to attend one ASAP!^^ According to numerous sources, their concerts seem to be quite successful here in Singapore:D

It has been full ever since the first one on the 15th May. Even the SDN48's concert last night was full as well!

That is just a gimmick, there is more to it than just seeing them in PVs donning corsets/bikinis.

I do admit the PV is >.> when I saw it the first time, but the LIVE version of HEAVY ROTATION is simply WOW!

The variety shows that they appear in are LOL but in a way show a different sides of them.

There are several 'live' versions of 'Heavy rotation' on 'Youtube' which are ideal for people who find female nudity offensive, if you grew up in the west you get used to it from an early age, but I am not saying that makes it OK !

The dance steps are really complicated for 'Heavy rotation' !
Not that I have tried it, honest !

Everyone knows that Atsuko Maeda aka Acchan will be the main lead in the new Hana Kimi makeover.

But there's a surprise today, it is revealed that Yuki Kashiwagi aka Yukirin will be in the series as well!

This is one of the methods they used to gain fans over.

Me and my friends are 'victims' to this ploy they used. . .

Me as well !
I highly recommend new fans watch 'Kagekidan' where Sayaka Akimoto plays a vampire who falls in love with a human, Minami Takahashi.
I think the girls can act as well as sing and dance !
