i began to watch this after seeing wikipedia which said that this dorama had a high rating during its broadcast. well it turned out to be a nice dorama for me. well i suppose this dorama is for female viewers,so maybe those who said it's a letdown are male although i am a male too Happy

it's yamappi's tv series.. and i think yamappi is one of the best actors in japan.. i like all his tv series and movies including kurosagi and nobuta wo produce.. Nice One

Oh.. I was thinking of watching it for the ratings as well, especially with the powerhouse cast, but hmm~ I think I'll just save it in my list-to-watch for the time being Cool

I want to watch Yanki-Kun to Megane-Chan but there are no subs Wooden Plank although apparently a group is hard subbing it so maybe I'll get to see it soon.

There are a few that I wanted to watch this season, but mostly only romantic/tragadies seem to be getting subbed.

Watched bloody monday 2 last season.

I only saw one J-Drama before, called Mop Girl.

It was good, and had an interesting plot with time travel and saving people, but was too short imo.

Some Hayao Miyazaki films, I think, fall into the JDrama genre-- case in point, Ponyo on the Cliff by the Sea. Also, I recommend Porco Rosso--also by Miyazaki. They say that it is one of his best works.

It's a story about a cursed World War II ace pilot, who turned into a pig. That's why they call him "Porco."

I've watched the Japanese and Taiwanese versions of the drama Hana Kimi. The only other Asian drama I've watched besides those is the kdrama Coffee Prince, which I utterly adore. I want to watch a lot more dramas, but never find the time~
