Anyone can do anything as long as you have the will and ingenuity to pull it off. Of course, it has to be realistically possible. Even on that note, a lot of people disabled or not have already pushed boundaries in achieving things previously thought of as "impossible". In short, yes, I believe disabled people can do things like non-disabled people. ^__^ Some disabled people can even do things that other people can't. It just depends on your resolve, way of thinking and of course, the help of family and friends. Even non-disabled people need those three things! Nice one

I can't believe some people think that way as you said. Just ignore those people and focus on your dreams and goals. ^__^

Yes, I believe there are certain things that a disabled person can't do just like a non disabled person. But I think they gain other great and unique abilities.
They find a way of doing things that a non disabled person does in their own way.

I admire people with disabilities that still go through life so cheerfully.
In that way I think they can do much more than are non disabled person. Nice one

I probably dont even make any sense HAHAH

Well, I'll be honest. I'm have a rare genetically disease caused by mutation during I was a baby, it's called gynecomastia, it's exceeding of female hormones in male that cause the male to develop (sorry) br#ast. well, it's not that visible since I'm not over weight, but I often teased because of this disease I have. I'm often embarrassed about it , especially when I went to change room and the whole class saw it. But, In exchange, I have visual mind and physically I'm more powerful despite my height and weight (hormones I guess). but of course I eat like a horse. So I think they'll always be things that only people that are disabled can do (I don't think mine considered as disabled but still it's a bad situation).

Disable person can even do more than what a non disable can do.
Be disable can engourage you to develop some capacities, just an example:
Blind people can develop a part of the brain that we are unable to develop because as they don't see, they are obliged to do some efforts for read (the Braille) etc...And we, we can't develop these capacities because we're seers.
Ray Charles was blind, though we was called "The genius".
Beethoven was deaf though he's one of the most famous compositor.
These 2 persons had only 4 senses on 5 though they are famous worldwide.
So be disable doesn't means "not be normal" because disabled are normal and as everyone they can be in top in all areas.

Might be totally unrelated but just a piece of my mind.

I work as a health care professional and I've seen a lot of different disabilities. But I never treated them differently from a normal patient.

I actually pity those who look down on them as I think they lack the understanding that disabled people are no different from all of us.

I only think of you as a fellow SH member.
I like to think that everyone gets treated with respect here.

I agree. disable or not, you are who you are. How your life will be it will be according to how much effort you put and how you believe it will be.
