Fullmetal Alchemist chapter 105 came out.

I'm not sure how many people read it here, so I won't put spoilers.

All I will say is that it really has the 'feeling' that it's going to end soon!

The anime is catching up at a quick pace. There is less than 5 chapters remaining.

I was surprised though, as 105 was a whooping 67 pages.

I'm guessing 3-4 chapters left, max. Since the anime is at episode 48, and if you calculate 63~ episodes, the manga has to end, fast.

And I think that ~63 episodes means we have 2 more OP/ED sets right? If so, I wonder who they'll pick after SID for the OP...

I just had a thought. Do you guys reckon there'll be a movie made after Brotherhood? Like they did for the original series with Conqueror of Shamballa?

Maybe not. The anime, strictly following the manga, would have its closure too. OAV's, maybe.

But if ever there was another movie, I want it to be original material from Arakawa.

This is the last set of OP/ED. Each pair had an average episode rate of 11-14 episodes. Chemistry and Shunkan still have 3 episodes left, when April 4th hits, it's the new pairs.

The only reason Conqueror of Shamballa came out was because the company thought the anime could either suck out some more money, or that the storyline was still expandable (or flawed), so they made the movie a continuation of episode 51. Since this series is a close tie between Arakawa and the production company, unless she says it's a go with a movie, I doubt there will be one.

True.... would be pretty awesome though if they did one. Arakawa would have to write it though, like suprema said. It wouldnt be right if she didn't. We needs moar manga from the holy bespectacled cow!

By the way, episode 48 is going to be delayed again.

Oh for gods sake... I just hope they make it a bit smaller this time. It covered like half the screen on episode 46 .mad.

They skipped that scene from the manga, it makes no sense since Wrath never fought them!
