These guys are an alternative to YJA for picking up tickets. I haven't used them myself but I met a guy who did and it seemed to work for him. It's a bit different than YJA, you tell them how much you're willing to spend and they get you the best tickets they can at that price.

Just a quick question 320x200, How much do you reckon we'll be looking at for tickets? I'm trying to get everything lined up for when it comes to booking flights/hotel etc, so I wanna get my budget sorted out if possible. Got my flights sorted out, just need to know what to budget for the actual ticket :3
Thanks for all the info in your first post though, really helpful.

Tough to say for sure until they start cropping up, but it all depends on how close of a seat you're looking to get. For a just a general seat somewhere in the arena I would expect to pay 2x to 3x list price minimum on YJA, close seats probably 5x to 10x list price and up.

I think around 6000 yen if I remember right. $300 should get you a ticket for sure.

There's going to be a few people from Singapore going, assuming they get get the time off. I'm sure something will get posted when we know what's happening in regards to getting the tickets on YJA. They go on general sale next month, so it's not too long to wait now.

Luckily, I just so happen to be studying in Tokyo during this time. Hopefully I can figure out the ticket vending machines at the convenience stores in order to buy one.

When do they go on sale for the general public?

For me, travelling costs and hotel are not the problem since I'm going to see my wife (who is currently studing in Japan as a foreign student for a year) whole March. I "just" need to get a ticket. So it's best to get a second-hand ticket?

I have requested SCANDAL MANIA membership via Celga last week... is the chance to get a ticket via SM (even if it's second hand) better than trying to be lucky at JYA?

I'm a little bit unsure and confused

Okay, I've found a ticket (undecided seat) at JYA, but a friend of mine told me to be watchful since in Germany, many tickets are name-bound and therefore cannot be re-saled. Does anyone know if there's a similar system in Japan? It would be disastrous to buy a ticket second-hand and not being able to enter the budokan because of name-boundness

I'm considering going to Japan to see this concert.so I had a look for tickets.

Booking is now open at Ticket Pia for prereserve tickets 先行抽選
http://ticket-search.pia.jp/pia/search_all.do?kw=SCANDAL
All tickets are 5250 yen + booking and shiping fee
Anyone applying before Jan 23rd will be put in the lottery for tickets. If it's over subscribed you might not get a ticket (obviously you wouldn't be charged) and you won't know what seat you're getting until the lottery is over.

General sale tickets go on sale Feb 11th 10am (assuming it's not sold out on presale)

If you want a seat near the stage then YJA is the way to go.

I want to go to Budokan so badly! There's only a slim chance i can make it though, i'm studying Kanji and Kana and learning all the Japanese i can. hopefully i can master most of it by March, if not then i hope they put a live stream or someone puts it up on Youtube. I hope i can go! Just need some ticket info if i can make the trip.

With a show as large a Budokan I would doubt they could check ID of every person going in. Also, scandal mania members were allowed to buy up to 4 tickets each, and of course you're going to give those to your friends who's names they don't know.

At a smaller Scandal Mania exclusive event where each member was only allowed to buy one ticket, they were checking for member cards. When I went to see Perfume at the Tokyo Dome, your name was on your ticket (for fan club pre-sale tickets only) but nobody was checking the names and people were buying/selling the name-printed fan club tickets.

Please check this list and make sure your name is on the list if you are planning on attending. If you have friends going as well who aren't on the forum please mention how many. I'm looking to keep an up-to-date count of the number of people we have traveling to help with planning any SH events we may hold in Tokyo. Going through this thread and counting other people I know personally, I think we're around 25 people total.

Those who can:
1)320x200
2)Toonz
3)HirumaKyo
4) Flare
5) SakuRedux

Want
1)Zech
2)DBAG
3)Turtle-san
4)shift123
5)Yedz
