Thanks for posting this up here. Once I get my bass I want to try this. Its too bad that once I get my bass I won't have a lot of time to practice because i'll be studying like crazy in EMT school. =(

I'm buying one and starting to learn but I have to wait until the end of the month when I get paid for babysitting. I already play guitar and know a little about bass. I'm thinking about getting one of these:

Oh i see.. Fender is good. I'm using Fender as well.. but Fender is consider abit costly.. Squier will have the Fender body.. don't know about the weight though.. u gotta try out both bass (ibanez & squier) and see which model you are more comfortable with.. as Fender /Squier will be kinda heavy for girls like you i suppose. But heck, Tomo uses Fender.. XD anyway.. Ibanez will be slimmer and smaller, and i think lighter perhaps.. depends on your preference in the end.

Not sure about my opinion as i'm not pro..AT ALL =)

I suggest go for the squier(not the affinity series). more versatile than that ibanez model. anyway, we're getting out of topic here. xDD

I'm not as small and I think i'm a little stronger than Tomomi so weight doesn't really matter. haha as long as it doesn't weight over 30 pounds. I'll probably go for the Ibanez since its cheaper. XD Thanks for the advice felixyukito and hessler.
