but where's Taiyou no Uta (Japanese), Sad Movie (Korea-2005), You're the apple of my eye (Chinese-2011), and A moment to remember (Korean-2004) ...??

'Infernal Affairs' (2002, Hong Kong) is generally regarded as one of the best foreign films. Hollywood's 'The Departed' (2006) is a remake of this movie. I liked the original a lot more though so I would recommend the movie. Although, if you have seen 'The Departed' and didn't like it, then the chances of liking 'Infernal Affairs' are slim.

For someone who likes some meaningless, action/comedy film, Future Cops (Hongkong - 1993) is good, although for me it's more comedy than action. Watch it and you'll see what I mean by 'meaningless'.

the only film who came in my mind for a reccomendation is absolutly helter skelter (2012 - japan). if you haven't watch it yet, you truly should!

I never see this movie, but it's a popular movie yep.

in horror movie, the most disturbing movie that I saw : Martyrs (french). I'm a big horror movie fan but this one haha, the psychology also affected me haha. (of course not a PG movie at all ).

In comedy : OSS 117 (1 & 2) [french]. With (for me) the funniest french actor Jean Dujardin.

Sci-fi : Prometheus (american) : Maybe the best Sci-fi movie of the last 10 years !

I don't know what category it falls into. It contains parts of song performances -musical?-, it's a story about love and friendship -which makes it a drama somehow-, but it's definitely comedy.
