What do you guys reckon the chances of any international SCANDAL shows would be? More specifically, in Australia. I know there will probably never be a SCANDAL show over there, but since it's highly unlikely there will be another one in France before I emigrate, I'm holding onto a tiny sliver of hope. I REALLY want to see them Live Please

Hope ABSCBN via their hero channel feature Scandal and incite them in one of the upcoming anime conventions.

Most of us Filipino members here really want SCANDAL to be known and to be able to visit the country. The Jpop and Jrock genre here isn't much known (although ARASHI was featured in a Philippine Magazine), this could contribute into an understanding that the Jpop and Jrock has a lot more share in comparison with Kpop (Sorry Kpop, Jpop and Jrock wins my heart).

I don't know if the JPEPA really hinders Japanese artists here or not.

I don't think they will ever come to Canada, since when was the last time a Jpop/JRock band/artist come here?

If there are any, I've sure to never have heard about it before.

In the Philippines I think majority of the people is more into the dance music type, that's why the Korean music is such a hit here.

girls rockin in the rain can attract a lot of ppl.. imo xD

@topic

but if they would go abroad i think they would definitely go to much more popular countries xD

i hate to say this but lately our country has been popular on the negative side xD

honestly, i want SCANDAL to visit Indonesia.. I will attend their concert!! but looks like it's not likely to happen. They haven't got many fans in Indonesia, and Indonesia isn't a really safe country. They might not visit indonesia for safety reason..but i still hope they come to indonesia...

The first thing they'll look at is, are they famous in a country. Second I think would be the money they'll be getting from it (mostly from the producers who hog the artists of their money, greedy bastards).

gunnersforlife wrote:safe country

As gunners pointed out, safety, is again a key factor to consider if they'll go to a certain country.

And they'll most likely to go to a famous country as haruhiyuu stated. And yes, our country right now is experiencing a lot of negativity.

In the end we'll just need to go to Japan and/or if they become internationally famous

Well they never did come to Canada but maybe one day they will come. The girls of SCANDAL are fans of Animes and we do have 3 big international Anime Con in Canada at Toronto, Montreal and Vancouvers and they did perform at least in one anime con once in the US.

I want to see them live and meet them in person here in Canada LOVE Tears of Joy

SCANDAL was in a HK ACG con July of last year. As I believe they're not going to be visiting the Philippines anytime in the next 3 years, I think this could have been the easiest way to see them live. But I missed it! T_T

We actually do. I forgot the date, but it's when Jose Rizal arrived in Japan.

(Oh no, I accidentally double posted. How do I delete the second post?)

Wild Guess.. ANIMAX ASIA is now focusing on Singapore & Malaysia, and they're having alot of anime conventions for the past few month in SG and they usually invite band's and singers to perform live,.. so SCANDAL might be invited for FMAB!!! Amazed

Good point. They might as well invite SCANDAL since they have been in more than one anime.
