Hey all, guys, I have not found a proper thread for this, so I had to start a new one.

Are there any members who likes to create tabs in Guitar Pro? We could try to make a couple of songs just in the program and share it with each other, so it would be much easier than playing them in real life.

For example, somebody creates one guitar riff or bass/drums line, or whatever, in Guitar Pro saves it in Guitar Pro file and shares it in this thread. Any member can download this file and add his part of the same instrument or other insturemnts to it, and share it again. So everybody can take part in making a song. Anybody can add or edit anything he wants, so in the end, probably a full song will be done, no matter how much time it takes - it's all about fun.And by the way Guitar Pro 6 sounds very realistic and nice.

We could make fully our songs from the empty sheet, or make songs that should be familiar to other songs we know (Scandal songs, for example).

If somebody does not know what is Guitar Pro, where to get it, and how to use it, I think I can explain.

So, is anybody interested? Nice one

I'm one all for just snowballing this thing together with the community, but I think while GP6's sound is good for practice, its sound won't cut it for a real song.

Yes, probably, but it would sound well enough. Of course, this is not the same as real instruments, but at the same time it's endlessly easier for everybody to edit GTP than real sounds. It may take just 5 minutes to edit the song and share it in the thread. It's not about the super sound quality, it's about having fun from the process :)And you almost don't need any skills in playing any real instruments to take part in it. So this is the point of it - maximum of members will be able to take part.
