Just a personal suggestion, for me kinda hard to see banned member post without thinking what have he/she done wrong.
Could it be just just accidental, inadvertency and nescience?
Anyway I thought if a member got banned then he/she no longer a member in SH.
He or she already received his/her final ultimate punishment, so why continue eternal punishment by making he/she shame with the "banned" title everyone else can always see.

I'm sorry if my english shortcomings make the wrong sentence structure but I hope SH staff can understand my point of view. Please

Thank You

On a broader scale, it could be time to clean up the members list as well... *sigh* now that's a big chore!

10K+ users but some are banned, gone missing, or haven't logged on since day 1 of registering. Not a big deal since it doesn't hurt SH in any way, so that's up to the higher ups to decide.

it would be entirely up to mc.
if the forums permits deleting of the users, then we can do that.
lets just wait for mc or eugene for this.

I don't think there's a need to delete the post of banned members.... because most of it contributed to the board one way or another especially if you are back reading the thread. Deleting it may cause confusion especially for topics that are argumentative (quote and reply) in nature.

Probably changing the "Banned" title to "Retired Member" could sound...better?XD

We rarely ban members as of now, and when we do is with a good reason, people who are banned are not retired members, they are expelled for breaking the rules.

I see where you are coming from with this post but unfortunately its unnecessary and we dont want to have to go through every single comment a member posted just to delete them when most of them are on the fun corner.

Could it be just just accidental, inadvertency and nescience?

You wont get banned after 1 infraction, you will be messaged about any infractions or rules that you may have broken and then we will talk about how to fix them and everything will be fine, people who are banned are people who either dont bother reading the rules and constantly keep breaking them despite us sending them message and telling them to stop it or they have tried to create multiple accounts.

Or take things to the extreme and are blatantly asking to get banned right off the bat.
