Yeah, man. The movie of my youth. You can't go wrong with the Seattle music scene of the early 90s! Or a Cameron Crowe film.

Wow, I had actually forgotten about that movie. I had turned 20 when the movie came out, and I had just started to get into the Seattle music scene. That spring, I saw Pearl Jam at Legion Field on the University of Georgia Campus for $4.00. The, I went to Lollapalooza II that summer where Pearl Jam and Sound Garden both performed, with Ministry and RHCP as the final two acts.

Brings back memories.

It's interesting how into older movies Rina has become....

I wonder if she's seen the 1980's classic teen movies like One Crazy Summer, Better off Dead, The Breakfast Club, St. Elmo's Fire, Pretty in Pink, Sixteen Candles, Risky Business, Heathers, Say Anything, etc.

The Breakfast Club! One of my favourites! She definitely should see that.

It seems that Rina was impressed by "Betty Blue" more than any other movies she watched.
Btw, my favorite song from the "Singles" is "Would" by Alice in Chains. The Bass line intro is simple but stunning!

When I was in college, a girl I knew at college was dating the Alice in Chains bass player. I dunno whatever happened to their relationship, but sometime around 1993, she moved out to the West Coast because he kept asking her to.

I have never seen this movie before, but Rina likes it. So, I will now have to watch it.
I "REALLY" love Rina's movie reviews. I just wish they were a little more detailed and L O N G E R . . .
