SCANDAL's 11th Anniversary Live - Storytellers: SCANDAL Ndlm2pk

SCANDAL will be holding two special lives at Billboard Live OSAKA on 8/21, their 11th anniversary!

Date: 2017/8/21 (Mon.)
Venue: Billboard Live OSAKA
Times: 1st live opens: 17:30 / Start: 18:30 | 2nd live opens: 20:30 / Start: 21:30
※The entire crowd will be changed out

Price: Service area - 6,500 yen ・ Casual area (includes 1 drink) - 5,500 yen

There will also be a dress code, which will be announced at a later date.

NOTE: This is the first SCANDAL show where 100% ID checks were implemented (source), meaning that if the name on your ticket did not match the one on your ID/passport, you were absolutely NOT allowed in. This was implemented in order to deter scalpers and resellers. More info on that here.

The Billboard venues are like large Jazz bar, a bit like Bluenote usually with meals etc Hence the dress code. Capacity is about 350 people.

That will be something like a private party? So dress code make sense. Maybe school uniform I will guess. Those who can attend are really lucky.
I remember the first time Scandal play in a Hong Kong is a small clubhouse of max capacity of 300 but 500 people attended. I learned that Tomomi can hi-fived a girl in the front row between couple of songs.

Reminds me of Kana Nishino's MTV Unplugged show at their counterpart venue in Tokyo.

A bit weird, though - to see a rock band whilst sipping a glass of bubbly and tucking into a plate of pasta. Check out the menu!

For their 11th anniversary, SCANDAL will be shooting for the VH1 program (will now be on MTV Japan)「Storytellers」!

SCANDAL will be the first artist featured on the Japanese production of 「Storytellers」, a popular VH1 program where artists perform while talking about how a song was born, their career, and life!

It doesn't sound like it will be; this doesn't seem like the type of program that would be broadcasted live (and I don't think it's ever been broadcasted live in the past). They're probably going to have to cut/edit the program together, and then it'll be broadcasted at a later date.

For the benefit of those who are not familiar with Storytellers, it was a pre-taped TV show where artists perform with full band setup and tell stories about their music and memories in front of a relatively small and intimate live audience, somewhat similar to MTV Unplugged. It was one of the flagship shows of VH1 (in the U.S.) first aired in 1996.

I think this will the first Storytellers franchise outside the U.S., right?

I am pretty sure that SCANDAL can easily pull it off on its maiden episode because, they are good at it.
