Gosh, I love Haru no Uta! I wonder how she sounded like covering that.

FM802 Hikigatri-bu is a regular event.

Everyone came on stage at the beginning to chat, after which Mami was first on stage to perform.

Its stage like a radio event with the FM802 DJ/radio presenters presenting the show and Radio MC breaks in between. It was filmed and recorded, so they may present some of it on radio?

Dai Matsumoto had first seen Scandal perform at his high school music event when Scandal was playing.

Mami used 2 different guitars, especially for key swapping between songs.

Mami wore Spring season clothing and wanted to start her set with some Spring season songs. She starts Departure with a long intro, for Stamp she got the audience to clap.

During her MC, Mami mentioned during her MC she was invited a staff from FM802 had attended her previous acoustic live , she mentioned about the 15th anniversary and tour as well as the new single, before KOE she got very emotional talking about the current covid situation and not being able to perform in a while, telling everyone to do their best, there were tears from some fans

Mami skipped off stage, without looking at the crowd after her performances, a little shy.

Finale was all the singers coming back on to covering individual parts of Matsuda Seiko's Sweet Memories.

Mami needed some backup vocal help with this song, probably a bit out of her comfort zone, but she did manage a few solo lines.

Right at the end there was the group photo/group plus audience photo as show on twitter.



Currently the guideline is still 50% capacity, so the seating was spaced out and there was a small group of Scandal fans, typically Scandal fans are not so keen on these festival/mix artists events and now with the risk of travelling.

The whole live was almost 3 hours.

When you are a member of a group you feel very lonely on stage without them, well done Mami !

Thanks for your post. Always nice to know how concerts go. Convinces me even more the girls still have more to offer. An acoustic set from them would be a wonder to behold.

I never thought Mami was so shy person. Always thought, she loves new meeting and talk. And also many times I never stop wondering how they continue to be so nervous before the performance, considering how long they are in this boat ... What a sad that concerts cannot be filmed in Japan, at least the fan video would be very interesting to watch.

She has always been the shy one - it's been mentioned several times in past interviews. I've also noticed a considerable number of times when she doesn't say much in a group setting unless asked specifically by the interviewer.

Actually there is nothing unusual about this.  Seasoned performers like Ozzy Osbourne and Paul McCartney admit to still having pre-show jitters and nerves.  Singers like Barbra Streisand and Mariah Carey were notorious for not touring and doing live shows for many years because they were petrified to be on stage.

I for one am very happy see Mami stepping out and doing a solo show here and there.  I am very interested to hear how LOVE ME DO sounds stripped down to just a guitar and voice.

Sweet memories cover was air played on FM802 last night, next week they will play Mami's comment and solo (most likely just 1 song, like the other artists).

I was impressed by MAMI's range and the way she pronounced the English phrases in this song. 
On another note—I know it's not the same one, but—that lamp reminded me so much of the one TOMO switched on for the KFTD concert acoustic set.

The lamp was part of the stage set and was there from the start till the end. The guests came on with their musical equipment.

This show that in pass year, they have the songs to do acoustic Album. .please.

I definitely enjoyed listening to her version of LOVE ME DO, even though it wasn't at the same tempo of the band's recording.

new to the forum, but when "love me do" was posted i listened to it on repeat all the way home during my 2hr commute from work. what are the chances that the other songs (audio only is just fine with me) that Mami sang are going to be posted somewhere? if i have to, ill download a VPN lol.

Pretty much zero, unfortunately. It's now been more than a month since the event and no further news regarding the broadcasting of more media from the concert has been posted.
