Sony is being really aggressive lately

that's why we should remain strict on the uploading and downloading of official SCANDAL albums/singles/videos

previously i've seen another forum (Ayunite!) get closed down because of police investigation (copyright infringement)

so lets all work to keep SH clean!

Well i dunno what Sony's take on illegal SCANDAL stuff is,but we'll be enforcing the No Official links rule even more from now on.None of you want to see SH being probed,do you?

Oh god please dont take down this site! I think we should mantain even the PVs and any SCANDAL material via shoutbox/pm JUST IN CASE, i dunno, better safe than sorry

This site won't be shut down. Rules are rules, and we will enforce them.

If Sony doesn't want us to post the type of media, I guess we cannot post it without the risk of getting sniped down.

I would also like to take this time to thank Banjo of for the work and dedication he has brought to the SCANDAL media.

Personally if we want to keep SH away from being touched by Sony is to not upload any stuff that is released officially to the public like singles, albums, DVD rips of SCANDAL's work that you can buy. I visited scandalbr a couple of times to get HD versions of some of SCANDAL's TV promo stuffs like their Friday weekly interviews (Shiteki Ongaku Jijou). I'm pretty sure why the site got banned is because of scandalbr's uploading of SCANDAL's latest albums, past singles, etc.. pretty much stuff you can buy at the shops/online. Personally I think it's ok for us to share SCANDAL's music videos/pvs, live and radio interviews, previews.. my two cents/rupiah/ringgit,etc.. on this matter

actually, that's what i am pertaining to, official stuffs are long prohibited here, sorry if i didn't pointed that out clearly

and yeah nvm that suggestion about limits, i think PVs, interviews and lives are fine....i guess

I think Sony is more strict to sites that are more devoted with downloads than fan forums... It's a good thing that the media section requires 50 posts to access. Sony has to send ninjas to access it....

I don't see the point why Sony removes lives and interviews in youtube.... how can they promote their artist?

Aaargh damn Sony, they're really getting more and more aggressive.

SCANDALbr being taken down is really a big loss to SCANDAL fans. When I was just starting out as a SCANDAL fan about a year ago, Banjo's site was one of the reason I became more exposed to SCANDAL because of all the media downloads.

Thanks a lot for all the hard work Banjo, all of us appreciated it!

As for our media, we decided that we can't risk it... more announcements later.

50 posts to access media section is a good defence against sony, but i think they could break it if they want, maybe they could hack this site (hopefully they don't do it). So i think the best way to prevent sony to close this site is not to post official things..

Hacking a site is out of the question. Sony won't do that. Neither would they DDoS just to take down the media section.
