I listened to the previews they posted on instagram and all three songs sound so good! Especially  can't wait for Soundly. 
Doukashiteirutte sounds very Tomo. I'm wondering if we're gonna get another Tomo solo. Reminds me of Ai no Shoutai

It also good that members have moved about who get what from the place you getting the Album from. Last few orders I got from CD Japan with the free bonus have been Rina, I got nothing against Rina but it nice to get one of the other girls for a change.

They made room for a long-time collaborator. Hidenori Tanaka is the one behind "Haruka" and "Yoake no Ryuuseigun".

I've never been so hyped by a 12 second video before. Wow.

I'm having trouble listening to it here in the US. I've tried iTunes and Spotify, but neither one will let me play it. Am I doing something wrong?

it's not available in my country either so I can't play it too

It's still not available in several countries. Their overseas licensing distributor has unsurprisingly dropped the ball again

Yet when you go to the Scandal page, it got latest picture of them at the top. I a got feeling we got to wait until the video is out.

It was supposed to have been up worldwide at midnight local time on 1/1, though. As you can see from the screenshot I posted, it's already up in most countries/continents except for NA and Europe. Their overseas licensing distributor for NA and Europe has always been unreliable.

JP = Japan, right?

No, it's up in Japan - it's under a different listing which is solely for Japan. Victor Entertainment handles licensing in Japan, so no outside licensors needed there.

Hmmmm.... I'm from a country where it's supposed to be available (SL), but it doesn't play for me. The play button is greyed out.

I feel like it won't be available in Georgia at all, I still don't have access to LUMINOUS even after all these months :\ it's been like that since Highlight

Staff needs to do a better job at distributing their music to international fans as well

Hate to say it, but I agree. With that distributor, I always feel like they take things way too slow when it comes to SCANDAL. Even with the physical releases, they make their announcements so late that I never know whether they're actually going to release the international version or not. I'm not keeping my hopes too high about getting one of this EP, but I guess we'll find out in a few months

Koisuru Universe was their first digital single. It was not an EP, despite what Spotify says (it says the same about Take Me Out, which was also a single). Their only EPs/mini albums before this are YAH! YAH! YAH! HELLO SCANDAL (2008) and R-GIRL's ROCK! (2010).

Probably, one of my favorite MVs they've done 

As for the song, I like it. It will grow on me after a few listens, but it's really catchy. Gives me a bit of R-GIRL's ROCK! vibes.

So I was sitting here alone watching this at three in the morning, and I actually said "wow' out loud. These guys are at their best when they just goof around and have fun. They're really just so engaging it's hard not to just love them to pieces.
I don't think they'd ever write a chorus like that. It's really got a Kyary Pamyu Pamyou vibe to it. The lyrics should be "hey hey hooky hooky part, hooky hooky part, the chorus, the chorus" lol.
The intro is very Scandal. I'm not sure about that scale going down. I thought at first it was in the wrong key, but I guess it's "legal".
Isn't it great how they all get a part to sing?
I've now seen three translations of the lyrics, and that "end of the world" part is not to be taken literally. It's just a way of saying that that particular day is done. So it's a happy song, not some "Girls' Last Tour" thing. (that was terrible)
Just listening to the song without the video, I imagine a young couple living on the Left Bank of Paris in the 20's with an artistic and kinda dramatic way of speaking. Maybe they're studying the "Japonisme" movement in art class or something. The lyrics would fit a scene like that perfectly. 
The snare drum sounds bigger on this. Like it has more reverb or something. It's really pops.
The different melodies are really modern sounding. At 2:30, that part. There are lots of really catchy parts. It's a lot to take in in one listen. Gosh, it's just so FUN..
Someone in the live comments complained about pitch correction. At this point I think that's kicking a dead horse. If it happens, so what. I'm sure back in the day people complained about electronic tuners. "Yeah REAL musicians tune by ear". Nobody says that now. And most people who complain aren't really hearing it, they're assuming it, in my opinion. You can edit together 50 takes and get the same result, if you're that particular. It's your money... 
Anyway, I really like this song. This really deserves to be a big hit.
