Releasing the albums outside of Japan on iTunes is an awesome way to attract fans from all over the world.
I found and posted links for iTunes album releases in North America and Oceania in the "42 Countries thread."

Edit: Also, people in Japan can now download SCANDAL's song START on their iTunes thanks to the release of the Star Ocean Second Evolution soundtrack release. JAPAN ONLY! D:

Apparently Sony and Apple came to some kind of agreement behind the scenes. Is Sony's online music download store still around? I haven't looked in a long time.

Regardless, yay! More exposure for our girls!

I'll still stick to buying the CDs, though, because I love lossless music

Wasabi Records (subsidiary of the french anime and manga publishing company Kazé) released their first two albums on the iTunes Store in the following European countries: Austria, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary (yay!), Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and the UK.

And after 4 years absence their releases available again on the Japanese iTunes Store!

(What a shame iTunes doesn't offer lossless music…)
