I usually play Cod (MW,MW2,BO) or Battlefield:Bad Company 2. There haven't been many big releases in the US so I don't get on as often as I will when games like Battlefield 3 and MW3 come out.

What sort of hard drive does the Xbox 360 use. PS3 uses a SATA laptop hard drive, so I can get any one of any size and install it. I wonder if it's the same for Xbox 360?

I don't have a Xbox 360, but am planning to get one. I just don't like the 4GB one, but the other is expensive. I have an extra SATA laptop hard drive, so I wonder if it'll work.

I believe it's a Western Digital hard drive and I don't think you can use it on your 360 like the PS3 can, well easily anyway... it is possible though since I have heard people doing it online. Your best bet is to use an external hard drive and formatting it tho you can only get 18gb of space regardless of HD space.

Another question. Unlike PSN, Xbox Live memberships/accounts cost money. With PSN, they also allowed Master accounts with sub-accounts for household/family. Sub-accounts are usually for those under-18 years old, parental control,etc.

Do Xbox live allow that sort of thing? I just don't want to be paying for 2-3 accounts, who are all under the same household. One membership is enough, yet we want to be able to play online with separate accounts.

As far as I know, you cannot create sub-accounts under your Xbox live account, (this of course, so that if you wanna use the Xbox Live service, you have to pay for each account) but, there is a filter to which type of games you can play, so say, if you want your son/cousin or whoever underaged, you set the filter to kids and it will only allow you to play E rated games and such.

Thanks for that info. I read about something call the Gold Family pack, yet I cannot find it at my local game shops, Gamestop, Best Buy, Toys R Us, even Walmart.

Supposedly, you can get 4-memberships accounts with the price of 2.
I also bought a 3-month Live Gold card, now, If I were to buy a 12-month card, can I add that now to my account, so 3-month now, plus 12 month equals a 15-month subscription starting right now.
Or do I actually have to wait for one to nearly expire until I can add it?

Sorry for asking so many questions, but I'm new to Xbox.
