Since Scandal switched their blog to Ameba I thought some people might want to register for an Ameba account. It's pretty easy so this might be way more detail than needed, but here's the steps on how to sign up.

Click the big orange button on http://www.ameba.jp/

next page asks for your email address

You'll get an email, click the email confirmation link it contains

Pretty standard account information stuff on the next page. Enlarge this image for details

Confirm your info

Thanks for this 320x200!! Now I have my Ameba account! Though I can understand a bit of Katakana, and Hiragana.. This was really a big help for me!

To follow Scandal on "Ameba now", log into your Ameba account then go to http://now.ameba.jp/scandalblog-4/ and click the blue "follow" button below their profile pic.

To join the official Scandal Ameba group, go to http://group.ameba.jp/group/FQT3eBWoh0o_/ and click on the orange button at the top.

then on the next page, confirm that you want to join the group:
