Night!!
On 3/16, or yesterday since it's now the 17th
We had our
SCANDAL sponsored event,
Band Yarou Yo!!vol.5 @ SHIBUYA AXーーー!!!

Our opening act KANIKAPILA was the winner of last year's Copy Band Contest, and our surprise guests Maisa Tsuno-chan from Akai Koen and Mizuki Masuda-chan from Negoto came, and the 6 of us formed SCANDAL!
Hyaー(((o(*ﾟ▽ﾟ*)o)))

KANIKAPILA has really powered up from last year, and each of their sounds and voices could properly be heard. The harmonies of the 7 of them were so wonderful!
An active middle schooler band is truly awesome, since we didn't even know about instruments at that age. I'm envious that they came in contact with instruments so early!
I somehow felt like I was about to cry while watching their live(/ _ ; )
Thank you coming from Fukuoka! KANIKAPILA is the best!!

And as for the 6 person formation of SCANDAL, we had Mizuki-chan on guitar & Maisa-chan not on guitar but on keyboards this time!
They were guests from 2 bands that we're good friends with(((o(*ﾟ▽ﾟ*)o)))
It's a pretty rare opportunity to have those from other bands perform with us, so it was really fresh,
There are lots of things to learn and things that you are told to learn, and you receive a great stimulation from each other.
Akai Koen's single 『Zettaiteki na Kankei』 and Negoto's album 『"Z"oom』 released on 3/12, and they took part in our event even in the midst of their busy schedules!

Aaー, our first live in a while was so much fun. I really didn't want it to end(/ _ ; )
Thinking of how this was our last live at AX brought back memories of our past lives at AX. It's so sad(/ _ ; )
We hadn't played a live since EX THEATER in January, and we could definitely tell that everyone was waiting for today!!!
We had been itching to play and were excited too!
We'll become an even more wonderful, cool band.
All right, we'll do our best again from tomorrow!!

Wow imagine you are KANIKAPILA and you read MAMI's message -> .toj.

That message also made me think about their Yokohoma concert this summer. There is no news about it but maybe seeing how good friends they are with some bands and what they did here... Could it be that it's a pure SCANDAL concert but with some guests for some songs like here?!

Anyways, like I said on the other thread, it's really great they have friends in the industry. they can share and learn and simply have fun with people they like and that are doing the same job!

I will cry while reading MAMI's message if I was part of that KANIKAPILA band. So full of praises. .dies.
I never knew it was rare to get someone from another band to perform with you. I thought it would just be like, "Hey can you perform with us?" Well now i know. lol

It's not really "rare" I think, you can see collaborations in TV shows and some special lives but obviously you cannot do this everyday, you have to match the schedules and I guess their companies also talk about business/marketing things first.
