Our first time in Hawaii
Theme：MAMI

The date has changed in Hawaii, so yesterday was the Honolulu Ekiden & Music Festival 2014!
It was SCANDAL's first time in Hawaii & our first LIVE there!

The ekiden started at 5:30 am
And the music festival ended around 9:00 pm! It was a wonderful dayー!!!

We went to cheer on the runners at the moment the Ekiden started,,
The moment the starting signal sounded, I saw the colors of the runners' eyes change, and the tension went up pretty high! The energy gushing forth from everyone was directly transmitted and I was really moved!
The fast teams reached the goal around 9:00, and I thought that was awesomeー! The fans that came together and participated as SCANDAL teams subsequently reached the goalー! So fastーー!!! haha
So coolー!!(((o(*ﾟ▽ﾟ*)o)))
Everyone who participated in the Ekiden, good work! We've received power from your running!!!(/ _ ; )
Although we couldn't run this year, I want to run if we get another chanceー!(((o(*ﾟ▽ﾟ*)o)))

After that was the music festival!!! SCANDAL's first Hawaii LIVE!!
The blue sea and the high sky! The wind coming from the beach felt great!! Everyone's smiles were great too!!

We played a LIVE during the wonderful time slot as the sun was setting!!!!!
The natural lighting set the mood, and our first LIVE in Hawaii was so much fun!! I'm so happy!!
Everyone who had been waiting for us in Hawaii, and those who came from Japan, thank you so much! I'm already obsessed with Hawaii♪Aloha♡♪
It was an all-day even for those who participated in both the Ekiden and the festival!
Cool down your tanned skin, drink plenty of water, and have a good rest☆

Tomorrow is finally our Fan Meeting Tour in Hawaiiー!!!!!!
I'm excited since it's an event we haven't done in Japanー!（＾Ｏ＾☆♪
We want to do an 『only in Hawaii』 event! We want to make memories with everyoneー! Everyone coming, let's do a lot of talking!

Today I wore a tie dye shirt under a white t-shirt. I rolled up the sleeves and you could see a glimpse of it. Without realizing it, this was the first time I had worn tie dye.

An 'only in Hawaii' event (/ _ ; ) Breaks my heart for missing it, but oh well. I hope they will drop by our country soon and do the same exclusive event, if possible XD

They weren't allowed to join the run? Is it like safety purposes, tight schedule or whatnot? I want to see SCANDAL join a race .clap. It would be soooo cool to be running with SCANDAL, or beat them, or lose to them XD I hope they'd get another opportunity like it.

I'm sure they were allowed to--probably even encouraged to--since all of the other acts participated in the race. They most likely didn't run because their schedule was pretty packed. They were the only act that had events outside of race day.

That and also not sure they all wanted to really race, not that easy and I think for them this trip was half business/half vacation, at least it looks like that to me.

And in that case do you really want to do heavy running in hot conditions for several hours? ^^(winning teams ran for more than 3 hours no? :/) Even though I can see MAMI totally want to do it, not so sure about the others. Not saying they are not in a good physical condition but this looked like a difficult race not just your 20 minutes running.

I think they had an amazing time in Hawaii and something tells me they might want to go back there in the future for sure. The sunset live, the great fan meeting and all the others memories have made a big impression on them maybe they will be back another time Onion Smile

And for the fan meeting I'm sure they will do it again but it's something special, surely they don't want to do it every 2 weeks.

I read somewhere that she wants to run next year's ekiden, or maybe that was Tomomi...?

Either way, if they really run in next year's ekiden, I'm seriously considering running just for the chance run along side them....w

We will see would be great if they do it again next year and run! But I fear there might be some problems if they do, I forsee a huge pack of fans running just next to MAMI or the other girls lol =P
