Sonny Moore, professionally known as Skrillex, is an American electronic music producer from Los Angeles and former frontman for the American band From First to Last. In late Autumn of 2007 he embarked on his first tour as a solo artist, the Team Sleep Tour with Team Sleep, Strata, and Monster in the Machine. After recruiting a new band lineup, Moore toured North America on the Alternative Press Tour, supporting bands such as All Time Low and The Rocket Summer, and appeared on the cover of Alternative Press annual 100 Bands You Need to Know issue. In June 2008, Moore went into recording for his debut album, titled Bells, alongside producer Noah Shain. He released the Scary Monsters and Nice Sprites EP as a co-release between mau5trap and Big Beat record labels, and runs an imprint label called Owsla, named after an organization in the book Watership Down.

Skrillex at a live show: Open Macbook, Click Play, Twiddle Knob, ~wobwobwobwob~

Hehe just kidding. He also smokes, drinks, gyrates, and shouts at the crowd. .lol.

Okay, I kid I kid. Seriously though, I was big on dubstep till last year. I probably burned myself out. Mt. Eden, Bar 9, Datsik, etc...I guess I couldn't handle all the drops.

Anyways, here's a cool version of SMaNS:

Don't really like most of his work, but I like that he is doing something different while being mainstream.
I'm more of a Moby, Chemical Brothers, Aphex Twin, Ferry Corsten, Deadmau5, and Kaskade listener.

@ToMami: Praise be Maynard...? (Tool fan?)

@Izayama33: Ooohhhh, Aphex Twin! Have you seen the steel drum version of Alberto Balsalm? Awesome arrangement and the students did a great job covering the song.

I also love how deadmau5 trolled Skrillex on the red carpet at this year's Grammys. "u mad bro?" hehe...

And yeah, big time TOOL fan here. I've always been more of a Danny and Justin guy though. I just wish that Maynard would stop concentrating too much on Puscifer and his wines and get back into the studio with the rest of the guys.

Sweet, I grew up on Tool then APC. They're suppose to release an album this year and release a track or two as APC...saw them(APC) live, beautiful performance! Tried to see Tool...sold out in 10 SECONDS!
As for Aphex, I haven't checked up on him since Come to daddy(remix). And for mau5, I gotta find the clip, Grammys usually make me rage so I avoid it, but I heard Dave of the foo fighters gave an awsome speech.

Awsome to meet another Tool fan...even here hahaHa~

Yeah, I don't watch the Grammy's either. I just read about what he did on Yahoo news or something like that.

I think I'll start up a Tool/APC thread so we don't stray off-topic here hehe...
