I only have one album (Tales of Purefly) and am liking the current Raise Your Flag single from that new Gundam anime.
And I am seeing them live tomorrow evening in Manchester! w00t.
It'll be weird as these guys sell out large venues in Japan but will be an opening act at a tiny venue that houses at most 500 people.

What club in Manchester? What are your thoughts about the gig?
As far I know they're more popular and Japan and the U.S. than anywhere else. Besides, they just started touring outside Japan this year.

It's called Club Academy (or Academy 3) at Manchester University.
The gig was great but the audience was stood there just checking the band out. I think I was the only person nodding my head to the beat when they kicked the set off with Emotions. lol
Here's a crappy iPhone shot I took of Kamikaze Boy, DJ Santa Monica and TOKYO TANAKA:

I wished I had my point 'n' shoot. There were no restrictions on photos/vids!

Four years eh? Prolly not many in the SCANDAL camp listen to the wolves from Shibuya.

I caught them on Wednesday night in Manchester again (at Academy 3 in the the University's Students Union building) - the first show of the European leg of the Chasing The Horizon tour.

With them headlining, it was so much better this time as compared to the gig I first saw in 2015. They played a 1.5 hour set pretty much loaded with hook-filled songs, mainly from their 2018 record.
Highlights for me:
- the small venue provided a more intimate setting, esp for a band that plays arenas in Japan.
- better view of the whole band this time
- 1.5 hrs = LOADS more songs
- Take Me Under from the Inuyashiki film (My Hero was the anime OP)
- the entire venue's audience jumping from a seated position on Spear Rib's cymbal count of 4 during Hey Now
- Jean-Ken complaining about the UK weather being a bit hot for this time of year, especially for (er...) furry animals like them. JK also joked with the audience:
- and the pinnacle of the evening was getting Kamikaze Boy's pick during the encore (one that he was actually using onstage). It landed fortuitously by my leg and no one saw it.

MWAM's new single Left Alive actually was released at midnight on the evening I saw them in Manchester. And the lucky fans in London the following night got to see that song being played live for the very first time!.
