She seem to imply that's something she's done in the past. Should I feel stupid (or just like a typical guy) for never having noticed before?

haha well, it's fairly subtle and she never mentioned it outright in the past, but yes, she did dye the underside pink before. She started dyeing it like that in early June (from her 6/7 blog):



You can see it most prominently in the Rolling Stone cover + B-PASS feature:

You know, I remember seeing that first picture on Twitter; I really should have noticed the color there.

However, you can't blame a guy for missing the hair dye in the Rolling Stone cover picture. With all due respect intended, there are too many other way too distracting things going on in that photo.
