A bit late in posting this (as in it's so late that the page is no longer on the site...even though it's only been a month...haha):

SCANDAL 「TOP3 Delicacies Eaten on Their World Tour!」

SCANDAL 「TOP3 Delicacies Eaten on Their World Tour!」 MjhXpOh

SCANDAL, who released their new single 「Stamp!」 on 7/22, appeared live at TOKYO FM's Shibuya Spainzaka Studio on 7/25. On the famous corner 「Guest 〇〇's TOP3 Chart!」 which peeps into a surprising aspect of a guest, the band's 「TOP3 Delicacies Eaten on Their World Tour!」 was announced.

【#3: Potato skins】

We played a live in London, England, and of course we wanted to eat fish and chips no matter what! Thinking that, we wandered around from pub to pub but couldn't really find any. The street we were told about was kind of like Omotesando or Aoyama in Japan; it was a rich, stylish place, but it surprisingly didn't have any local food.

There weren't any at the long-established, nice pubs. There were 「potato skins」 listed on the blackboard menu. We wondered, "What's that?" and ordered it.

We got it, and it was definitely a skin of a potato. Another party said, instead of the skin being peeled off, it's more like the skin is cut and the inside of the potato is included with it. Like snacks that go with alcohol, it was dressed in mayonnaise.

【#2: Frog】

This was served with a course in France. It came out smoothly deep-fried (laughs). We thought it was chicken and it looked brittle. If you moved it a little, the frog would move (laughs).

We tried it and it was delicious. It was covered in a basil sauce and looked a little grotesque, but it was like bland chicken.

【#1: Ant eggs】

We ate this in Mexico. It was like caviar, pure white bubble wrap on a small dish...(laughs). When it was lunch time in Mexico, the local promoter ate it and said, 「This is a luxury food and you can't eat it too regularly, so now's the perfect time to eat it」.

The people next to us were eating it, so we thought, "We're finally in Mexico, so we have to try it!" and ate it (laughs). The texture was snappy and it tasted salty. It was delicious because it was pan-fried (laughs).
