PUPPET MASTER (1990)

This is what I texted my girlfriend the night I was watching this:

"The movie I'm watching is about a guy that creates a bunch of puppets and places some kind of ancient Egyptian curse on them before he commits suicide.  30 years later they come to life and kill off a bunch of psychics.  Does that seem dumb, or what?"

Two nights later I was at a wine tasting party and the guy seated next to me (unprovoked) started talking about PUPPET MASTER 5!  He said it wasn't any good, so I asked him how could he sit through the other 4 first and think this one would be any better?  And that's when I learned there are 9 Puppet Master movies.

BTW, I looked into it before writing this, and there are actually 15 or 16 movies in this series.  Wow.

I went to see The Boy And Heron last night.

While it was interesting but strange film.  I would say Spirited Away is still Miyazaki best work, with a better storyline.
