Seems like they are blocking us again. Spotify, itunes and youtube are available on Japan only

Even here in Japan, Scandals youtube channel took down most of their PVs. Although you could still play it on 'Playlist' but it's not on their 'Videos' anymore.

But why?? Spotify and itunes are the fastest way to legally listen to their songs. I mean I'd love to buy their albums but Im just a poor student so yeahh  Ohh well, I'll just go back to saving up again to be able to buy their album.    It's still sad tho.

Hey  i'm also from germany and have the same problem like you.

I'm from Argentina (we had Scandal before USA for reference) and also got removed.
What you can easily do is create a Japanese spotify account, you can hear them and also to other japanese bands that blocks every country

I am in Sweden and there are no Scandal songs anymore in Spotify.
So sad:(

Yeah same as me too. I have Scandal songs on my spotify but now I can't play it..it said that the song is unavailable. Why Scandal is no longer on Spotify? Or maybe because the region?

I'm locking this thread for now. We don't need people in every country posting about how their music is no longer available on Spotify in their country because, except for Japan, ALL COUNTRIES WORLDWIDE have been affected lol. Will unlock this thread if/when any updates are available.

Curious thing on Spotify. SCANDAL now shows up as "SCANDAL (JP)" and has the Shoujo S single available.

Maybe they had to take stuff down to settle what had to be done since there's an American band also called Scandal? Hopefully everything comes back up, but at least I can listen to Shoujo S legally again.

What i noticed was they made a separate page for Scandal now labelled as Scandal (JP) as before they we're mixed up with the 80s band of the same name. Can any of you verify if you can also access the albums and songs of our beloved band.

Everything's back up for people in Vietnam as well, so it looks like they're starting from Asia and (hopefully) will eventually have everything available worldwide again.

Can confirm it already shows up to me. By the way, does that mean they won't use the names in romaji anymore? I remember before they disappeared, the names were in romaji (I still have the albums "saved" to my collection), but after I lost access I found the albums with the regular names (still couldn't listen to anything), which I figured was a reupload.

Is it all the albums and singles? Still missing Baby Action and Scandal Show here in the Philippines. I'll check again tomorrow, maybe just taking some time to roll out. Definitely good news for most though!

In Germany only HONEY is available now (in addition to MASTERPIECE).

Masterpiece/Mabataki single and Honey album published by Rooftop Music (i.e. their management company), so easier for Scandal to release, the rest are Sony Music Publishing, so obviously a different agreement and still to be sorted out if its not available where you are.
