TOMOMI & RINA to participate in Hanshin Tigers' "Minna de Rokko Oroshi 2020" RLrM29I

TOMOMI & RINA will join the Tigers Band that will be performing the 2020 version of "Minna de Rokko Oroshi," which will be shown on the big screen during games for the pro baseball team Hanshin Tigers! It will be broadcasted at Koshien Stadium starting from the opening game!

The fight song "Minna de Rokko Oroshi," which sees famous Hanshin Tigers' fans from different professions appearing in it every year, is played on the big screen before and after a winning game at the Tigers' home stadium.

In 2020, it has been further evolved with the formation of the "Tigers Band" composed of musicians from different genres, with TOMOMI & RINA participating as band members in the performance of the "85th Special Edition" of the song! (Vocals: Taiiku Okazaki & Nana Mizuki - Guitar: Ulful Keisuke)

It will be broadcasted at Koshien Stadium starting from the opening game!

TOMOMI's comments:

I'd love to tell my childhood self, who loved this fight song, that she'd be wearing the 85th anniversary uniform and performing "Rokko Oroshi"!
Let's aim for victory again this year - hooray, hooray, hooray!

RINA's comments:

To think that the day would come when I'd be performing "Rokko Oroshi"!
It makes me very happy as I was born in Osaka and grew up a Hanshin fan.
Go for the win again this year, Hanshin Tigers!

The Hanshin Tigers are one of the oldest professional clubs in Japan. They played their first season in 1936 as the Osaka Tigers and assumed their current team name in 1961....Wow !

Haru and Mami are both from Nagoya, so if Chunichi does something similiar they could do it too.

Many Baseball teams in Japan get a Japanese idol to throw the first ball which can be quite amusing as often the ball goes nowhere near the batsman but Sasshii from HKT48 was fast and deadly and it took them by surprise Happy

She had orange hair at the beginning of the year. This makes sense as it means this was shot before the pandemic really started, and after all, baseball season in Japan was supposed to have started back in March but was postponed until recently.
