Hi, I have a couple of questions:
Who is going to see my email address?
If my message is formatted a certain way, in this case as lines of haiku (don't laugh) will it be sent as-is?
I intend to send my message in both English and Japanese since I think it's flattering and appreciated when Scandal speaks a bit of the local language when overseas. It shows effort, and I'd like to reciprocate. Is that OK?

Just the SH staff. It won't be made public in any way; we just want people to feel accountable for the messages they send to make sure they don't submit overly...odd things. It's been working fairly well so far.

Thank you for the information! I was going to give my lovely poem a title, but I checked, and it turns out "15x4" could be interpreted as "fifteen times death". That would surely fall into the "odd" category, ha ha.

I'm sure I've seen this asked somewhere across the interwebs but I can't find it for looking.

? If you're talking about the Fan Letter Project, then no, it's not. This time we're only asking for short, text-only messages to the band, preferably at least mentioning their 15th anniversary. Plus, the end result will be something completely different.

First of all, congratulations for creating such a fantastic project. That's a really neat idea!

But I have a question related to the message to the band- can I send it written only in Japanese? Because it will be difficult to fit all those words in two languages.
And of course I have checked the text few times, from the top to the bottom. It lacks any misinterpretations so there won't be any "odd things", like you have mentioned few posts ago.

Don't worry about that and just go ahead and submit your message in its entirety lol

Yeah, I'm thinking to much. By the time I figure it out it will be 17th or later ;-)
But jokes aside, thank you once more for your acceptance. I'm maybe new here (and into Scandal's music), but I still want to send some nice words to them.

The band may or may not have already checked out the finished product... You guys have to wait a little bit longer to see it, though.

However, it will only be available for the public to view for a small amount of time. If you miss that window, you will not be able to see it.

You might want to keep an eye on our Twitter and Instagram tomorrow night (Saturday, August 21st, PDT)...

I saw it pop up on my IG stories last night right before bed.

I was already exhausted from waking up at 4am to be ready for the livestream and ended up scrolling through the messages for almost an hour last night. I did finally see my message there!

I don't think they'll publicly comment on it. They already saw it before the day of their anniversary + a few of them also viewed our IG Story about it and left it on read haha

But yeah, at least we have confirmation that they did in fact look at the site
