We will like to address the various concerns and enquiries raised recently about the seats allocation for the event.

Gatecrash is committed to have the ticket distribution and sales conducted fairly, as per the request of the organiser. To ensure that the best possible seats are allocated to the earliest buyer, seats are allocated automatically via the system on a first-come-first-serve basis.

In order to ensure the integrity of this principle, we had implemented the strategy for the system to do a registration first, then a allocation of seats after the initial sale period. Therefore, all allocated seats information are for reference only, and do not reflect actual seating at your time of transaction, and also this is why even the email confirmations (with the subject line "Your GATECRASH Ticket Receipt") do not have the exact seat numbers, and only proves that we acknowledge your purchase.

Under the assumption that people understand that under system allocation, one cannot choose their seats, and the system will give the best seats to the earliest buyer, we, regrettably, did not explain this process in a more conspicuous manner. We are very sorry that this led to the unforeseen confusion of some ticket buyers thinking that the allocated seats in the shopping cart and transaction log were the actual seats, although in actual fact they were actually meant as internal reference only.

To be fair to the rule of the system, we guarantee that the best possible seats are allocated to the earliest buyer. The best possible seat is decided by an allocation plan predetermined by the organizer.

We regret that we did not explain this process more clearly. Gatecrash is currently fine-tuning this and the oversight will be corrected by today on the website.

An email with the subject "Your allocated seat for AFA" and the exact seat number will be sent out to all customers who have purchased tickets from today onwards and no later than Monday (27-Sept), this will be in effect for those who have not received any confirmation at the point of this announcement. Your allocated seat in the email will be the final confirm seating.
Customer who have bought tickets from today onwards will receive an email with allocated seating within 2 working days if not earlier.

Rest assured that if you have received an email confirmation (with the subject line "Your GATECRASH Ticket Receipt") from us, your purchase is confirmed. If you still have not received your confirmation email within 24 hours of your transaction, please kindly contact our customer service email at enquiry@gatecrash.com.sg (including your name, NRIC/Passport number and Order Id if possible). We will check and resend the email to you as soon as we can.
