I know I'm digging out an old thread, but well, ENCORE SHOW was just released and S.L. Magic is in there.
In Japan there's a running Steam Locomotive and it's called the S.L. Hitoyoshi, S.L. as in Steam Locomotive.
With the lyrics mentioning 「雲列車」 (Train of clouds), going on a journey, going through tunnels. I personally think that the S.L. may mean Steam Locomotive.
Of course, the S.L. could have multiple meanings, and Steam Locomotive could just be one of it. The lyrics of the song itself is very poetic, so I wouldn't be surprised if it does.

I agree with this. I think "S.L. Magic" means both the "magic" of SCANDAL and the magic of trains; Steam Locomotives mentioned in the song. So I guess after 3 years propglenn can now sleep, xD

I think the S in Shoujo S and the M in Shoujo M stand for the S-type and M-type person Japanese people use when discussing girlfriend/boyfriend.
I don't really know which is which though, some would say S = Slave and M = Master, while others say S = Superior and M = Minor.
Then again, judging from the lyrics of both, I'm sure they mean Superiority and Minority for each song.
