can I go both? I'm actually a drummer, and I love playing it, but I always find it cool to try playing the guitar sometimes because I haven't really gotten a chance to play guitars publicly

you know... getting to go around the stage, swishing the guitars, pumpin', jumpin and stuff... trying to do that while drumming would obviously turn the whole thing in to a complete disaster... it'sometimes good to be mobile on stage.

... and drumming for a long time hurts my butt... seriously!

@tonymiller: Petey of FOB seems to get a good attention... not just on the playing though.

@ronrinesu... try searching for Alexey Poblete on YouTube... she's a girl, 8 (obviously smaller) and a very nice one at that. We're friends in a drummer group on FB (drummers of the phillipines)... the kid was just flippin' amazing... I almost sounded crap compared to her... no kidding.

just goes to show, size don't matter... if you can reach it, you can play it.

I just checked out Alexey Pobete on Youtube and she is amazing !
She can join my band any time.
But there are strict rules on the hours children can work in the UK that might be a problem being she is only 8 years old.

@tonymiller... what did I tell 'yah? huh? that girl already met THE ERIC SINGER (did I get that right?) the drummer for KISS and a whole lot of other artists in drum conventions. Eric gave her lotsa presents... gears including signature heads, a pearl snare, an eliminator demon drive double peds thingy, sticks, etc..... check this out... she is also an offical endorser for Soultone Cymbals... oh yeah!

i played the drums since age of 7 but stop after 3 years when mom said music is an useless piece of crap. I stop till, when i was 20, i went back to drums and now starting on guitar. i Love to be a guitarist atm! Its cool TTM!

I have played since I was 14 and I still enjoy making music and listening to it just as much now.

I think the Drums are really cool and so is the bass but guitar is my instrument

No problem! Chill! How I had wished I didn't stop at the age of ten! I'm trying to recover back all the time I have missed.
Practise and practise everyday. Mastering guitar at the moment. .clap.

I play alot of my Acoustic guitar.
I got an electric one recently but i cant really play well on the electric guitar because i haven't really memorized all the basic powerchords!

I would be drummer because guitars are over rated and too many people play them so its really common and i like being different so i would rather play drums deffinatley

but I am both~ .cool.
anyways, for me, i'd rather be a drummer because it's rare for girls to play drums

For me, playing the drums is a very cool thing, you get to bang your head and hit like there's no tomorrow, but I still think knowing how to play string instruments especially guitars is a lot cooler! (though I really don't know how to play any instruments! what a shame!)
Besides, Rina said she likes people who plays the guitar swiftly, maybe it's time for me to learn some strumming!

It's abit easy to play with plus it lets you... GO ROCK AND ROLL!!!

drummer, its just more fun to bang on things and make music out of it

For me, being a bassist is cool, but being a drummer is cooler. And its a bit easier, you just have to sit down, listen to the beat of the music and hit the part of the drum required,it just needs a little bit of concentration, you won't get distracted with the background music and besides, it is your guide.

i prefer drum.
well, i play guitar ( not bass ).
for me, learn guitar is easier because you don't really have to concentrate on the beat.
but, i like playing drum ( because i also learn to play drum ) and drum is a more challenging to learn for me. and also i've gave up guitar. i hate string instrument ( including violin ).
and don't think i prefer drum because i love rina.

I'd like to learn both. I want to be a guitarist in the future just like Mami, a great guitarist. But I also like to learn drums, its cool. ^^ .clap.

i choose being a guitarist because it looks so cool when a guitarist play a melody just like Mami

i ady know how to play the guitar.... but... hmmm... i really want to learn how to play the bass.

I choose drummer. I also know how to play the guitar, but my hands are so tiny they can barely reach the last string! But for the drums I have to reach for the cymbals, but that can be easily fixed since I'm still growing!
