Exactly my thoughts! I went for two concerts on the Honey tour (Morioka and Sapporo) and I felt Scandal were masters at balancing showcasing their new work and also giving fans their old favourites. 

Also, I nearly cried when they played Awanai (for personal reasons!) as their setlist closer.

Put talk breaks wherever you want. Personally, if I'm honest, I'm not really a fan of long talk breaks.

And last thing: I want them to play completely live, without any use of backing tracks, even if this meant, that some parts could not be reproduced. The only backing track would be drum machine/pre-recorded drums for Oyasumi (as Rina would play guitar on this one, naturally).

A while ago, back when I knew the band since 8 months (November 2020), I also had that idea on Discord. It was back when I Still Wrote Songs Titles Like This (unbearable). But now, MIRROR got released, and my tastes evolved and widened a bit, so I felt like bringing this thread back to life ~

I'll also share here the rules and notices about the dream setlist I made on Discord :

• 27 songs maximum. This is what they did at their 10th ANNIVERSARY gig, which was their longest gig ever. If you feel like you need less than 27 songs, well, first of all, congratulations, and of course you can put less songs.
  
• One encore with 4 songs, as part of the 27 songs (which makes 23 + 4 songs, not 27 + 4). They never made more than 4 songs in an encore as far as I know (but 2 encores did happen a few times earlier in their career), so this is the limit we'll put. Also, this is what they'd do on a big gig.
  
• No rotations. You can have honourable mentions though. Just not more than three, to avoid being excessive lol.
  
• Anything SCANDAL and its subunits made counts, even the covers they released or played live. So if you want “ALONES” (from the “HARUKAZE” Limited Edition A single) or even “Willst du mit mir gehn” (which they did cover live at a special NENA show in 2017) in your setlist, go for it ! Just don't invent covers, or it's not really SCANDAL's stuff anymore. Prioritise SCANDAL's songs !
  
• Select anything you'd like. If you even want to have a whole album live, then go for it, it's your dream setlist after all !
  
• Please at least write the titles in rōmaji. Some of us might still not be able to read the titles in kana.
  
• Feel free to mention a venue, duration, and where you'd put MCs, but you don't have to. These are just extra details. Also, the venue doesn't have to be in Japan. If you know a nice hall in your country, you can totally choose it.

MC's might be put between individual sections. Since studio versions ammount roughly to one and half hour, total show shouldn't exceed two hours.

For the "Middle section solo songs", I selected four songs (one by each member), which fit the criterium of being written, composed and sung entirely (backing vocals not counted, obviously) by that one member. My choices were Yuugure, Tokeru for Haruna (I actually prefer Graduation, but I didn't want more than four songs from one album, and I already had four songs from Hello World, all of which I prefer over Graduation), Ivory for Mami (my favorite non-bonus track from Mirror; I originally put Koe, until I remembered, that Mami did not write that one), Life Is a Journey for Tomomi (a song, that should not be just a b-side, as it's a lot better than most of Yellow) and Oyasumi for Rina (my favorite from Hello World and one of my favorite Scandal songs ever).

It would include:

For a setlist of 18 songs. To begin, i think something powerful is good like Line of Sight, Shunkan Sentimental and Masterpiece the three first songs. Then Eternal, Harukaze and Ceramic Blue. Then three songs of Hello World like Image, Departure and Yoake Ryuuseigun. Three nostalgic songs of their debut like Shoujo S, Doll and Kimi to Yoru to Namida. Take me Out,  Awanai Tsumori no Genki de ne and Love Survive. And to finish the three most popular songs of their vote in 2021, A.M.D.K.J., Koe and of course SCANDAL BABY. 

Between a group of three there will be MC and/or costumes change.

For a setlist of berween 20-30 songs like for 10th anniversary festival, I have to think more.

My 'ideal' concert would take the opportunity to do some rarities and songs which haven't been part of the regular rotation for a while. I chose 21, which is 20 Scandal songs plus one by a couple of special guests while the set is changed...
