About learning japanese: lately learned the hiragana, next are the katakana. And then I will dig into "Genki 1". Don't know if it's the right way and if I make it, but I'll do my best SH GER Members - Page 6 807595

The first lesson should be in Romaji, so it should be okay to start with it, if you can't wait ^^ But it makes sense to learn hiragana and katakana first Happy

Have fun!

I feel your pain .rage.

38° C!!! I had to attend a botany exercise in a plain field without trees and any shade...
Needless to say my skin now sports a healthy tinge of red and I feel pretty dehydrated!!!

Additionally I'm really jealous of you because you get to visit the Scandal Shop .waaa.
Thats what I get for browsing SH in order to soothe my pain...

Aaaaaw, sorry ^^ I'm gonna take some photos for you! Should I bring a german flag there?! Onion Wahaha

And oh yeah, that must have been really exhausting for you today!!

I could work in the hospital basement this morning. It was pretty cool there. But then I had a lecture under the rooftop of the university! And now I'm sitting under the rooftop and decided NOT to dry my hair, no matter what I will look like tomorrow -.-

Edit: Oh, it IS already dry. That was fast... Hello curls...

After i finished the exercise I was truly was exhausted, but fortunately there was cold beer in the fridge .hail.and therefore I'm already on the road to recovery!!!

Curls ftw - I'm about to take a freezing shower and usually my hair is really straight, but right now even I will get curls...  ^^

I have 28° in my appartement right now, strange that I think "wow, doesn't seem to be really hot at the moment".plank.

And >80% humidity doesn't make it better. I got holidays, but its to hot to do alle the things I've planned...

Oh well that sucks - time to bust out the good old paddle pond (preferably in the basement...)  .whiteflag.

Thinking back to my holidays i'm usually plagued by rainy and cold weather.

Speaking of which, last time I checked the weather forecast there was a 80% chance of rain. Today they changed it to 9%... .fustrated.

I can't describe how happy I am for being able(forced) to enjoy another field exercise without any shade at 13:00h. Maybe I should try to perform a rain dance!?

It worked Fobbel! In Bonn!

My way home took me one hour instead of a half! We had a huge thunderstorm exactly when I had to leave work! I got so wet to the bones within five meters running. THe bus was late, and hat to stop at the central station because it couldn't pass the passage underground anymore. Same with the subway. Then I went home. Didn't make any difference anymore...

At least it worked for Münster as well. Now we have such an heavy storm here that I'm not able to open the windows. So the heat will stay in the appartement ab bit longer .fustrated.

33°C, no rain at the moment.
(29 inside my flat.)
The cooling system at work failed the second day.

I was as wet as if I had taken a shower! Really! Even the things INSIDE my backpack were wet. My head was wet although I wore a hat! It was wet UNDER the hat!!! And I was so scared of the lightening bolts. One must have banged in pretty close while I waited at the bus stop! .wtf.

But it's over now and the weather is so fine!

Hey german and german-speaking/reading members!

How about taking action a bit?

I was thinking about how to bring SCANDAL to Germany and the first thing that came into my mind is raising the fan level. But how can we do that?
I guess the first step we could do would be bringing them into our youth magazines, like BRAVO etc. Yes, most of us may be years above the usual Bravo-buyer-age, but for SCANDAL, I would buy again!

I was thinking about an e-mail initiative to the editorial offices of the magazines within a short period of time, maybe after the new PV is out. In our e-mails we should present the band and their efforts like Budokan and OJH and the pretty big international fanbase shortly. Last but not least, that we would like to have more reporting about them in Germany.

Since it's almost ten years that I've bought my last Bravo etc., I'm not really up to date. But Magazines I would write to would be Bravo of course, Popcorn, Yam! (does it still exist?) and Starflash is a newer one, I guess? Top of the Pops doesn't exist anymore, lol. Do you know more?

Maybe we're lucky and get an answer. Maybe we will even get a short report!

And what do you think about my idea?

Greetings,

Hasenfu

Sounds nice!

Reading the names Bravo, Popcorn etc. brings back nostalgic memories .happy.

Never heard about Starflash though.

I think it is a good idea to aim for it when the new single/pv will be released. Count me in!

But first I've got to go back on the sofa and let the pain come over me. The doc pulled out 2 teeth a couple of hours ago. The anesthesia stops working bit by bit... .whiteflag.

nice idea.
Are there any music magazines for older people? I would be embarrassed, when I buy Bravo or something like this.
Maybe we shouldn't put the focus on SCANDAL alone.
I also would like to see UVERworld, DragonAsh, Doping Panda, TokyoSkaParadiseOrchestra, TokyoBrassStyle, Motoharu Sano, Harumi Igarashi and Shakalabbits in Germany.

I like your basic idea but I'm not sure whether the current fanbase would warrant an article. (but then again that's exactly what has to change...)

Considering that the Japanese music market is almost as big as its American counterpart (as far as I know it even has higher sales) it's really wondrous that Japanese music is reduced to such a niche market in Germany/Europe/America. .wew.
