Tonight, our new song that will be released on 8/14 will be on-air for the first time on our regular TFM radio program 「SCAnomics」.





「Kagen no Tsuki」 is its title.

I honestly like it more than Awanai Tsumori Genki de ne.. Just my preference though... I don't know why but I remember Beauteen when I heard this song.. I'm hoping for an awesome pv.

Nice song. Not my favorite of the last songs released but it's pretty nice.

I wonder if the length of that blog post says anything about what she really thinks of the song.

I think you guys are reading too much into it. RINA posted this blog right before the program went on-air; she posted it at 8:45 pm and the show started at 9:15. If she had taken the time to write a lengthy blog post as she usually does, she probably wouldn't have been able to post it before program aired.

However, since their posts apparently are moderated/someone else approves the blogs and then makes them public, the entry didn't actually go up until about 2 hours after the program ended. Go figure. :P

Hum on one side I guess i understand completely why they would do this and all but... on the other hand i'm a bit shocked they would do it for a band like SCANDAL. I mean they are not a american popstar selling millions of CD and being a superstar that need to be 100% controlled, why would you need to approve what they say?

They are grown up and are pro musician now, they know their job and what they can do/say I think.

I suppose it's not that dramatic anyway, a member from the staff must just read it quickly then hit the "submit" button but still i'm really surprised. I guess the only thing they are watching is if a girl didn't reveal a secret information about a new song or something.

Also yeah you can't question RINA's message length, she is doing her best all the time she can some times post a shorter message right =P ?

Well yes, if you look you'll see that the time stamp on their blog entries and the time stamp on the blog update tweets on the scandal_band Twitter always differ. Someone does have to click a "Publish" button in order to make the entries public.

But it's not like the girls are completely controlled; they seem to have a lot of free reign. But no one except for those in it really knows well how the Japanese music industry is run, so whatever we say would just be speculation.

But as this subject is completely off-topic from the original blog entry, no further discussions on this will be allowed in this topic.

The new song is okay, it has an old school feel and catchy chorus. But honestly, I still much prefer Awanai...

It's totally understandable that their blog is moderated. It is the *official* blog after all and you can't have content that reveals confidential information or overly personal matters that might have negative effects on the band. Many careers have been ruined by careless words spoken/written in public and you can't have that.

Freedom of expression is in essence a good thing. But many people fail to take into account that it has its repercussions. You can't just mouth off then expect no consequences. Better to be safe than sorry.

And yes, we shouldn't read too much into things and jump to the wrong conclusions. Speculation is fun but at the end of the day it is what it is. Just speculation.

I really like the new song by the way. I expected something different from Awanai and I got it.
