やっとやっとやっとやっとこの日が来ました。
ついに今日、10月2日はSCANDAL NEW ALBUM『STANDARD』発売日です！！
5枚目のアルバム。
デビューから一年に一回アルバムを出してきました。
みんなに今のSCANDALを届けたい気持ちは変わらずですが、大阪城ホールを経て、気持ち新たに取り組んだアルバムです。
夢だ夢だと言い続けてきた大阪城ホール。これだけ夢だといってきたことで、いつも支えてくれているみんなからも、SCANDALの夢が自分の夢だって声もあって、本当に嬉しかったし、やってきて良かったなと思った。
と、同時にステージに立って夢が叶った瞬間に、夢では無く通過点だったのだなと思ったのも事実。
みんなに引っ張ってもらって連れていってもらった大阪城ホールでもあると思うの。みんなのおかげ。
だから次は本当にいつもついてきてくれてるみんなを、SCANDALが！大阪城ホールに連れて行きたい。
そんな気持ちが生まれました。
なんていうんだろう、ありがとうの気持ちを新たなスタートを切ったこのアルバムと共に伝えたいんです。
もっともっとみんなの日常に溶け込めるように、あなたの一曲になるべく、歌詞も曲もこだわって作りました。
自信作です。
たくさんの人に聴いて欲しい。

固いことをいうつもりはないんです、でもこのアルバムをつくれたことでSCANDALというバンドが生まれ変わった気がしたんです。
POPな曲からROCKな曲まで全13曲！ボリュームたっぷりです！とか内容の話は、雑誌やTVでこれでもかってほど思いは伝えてるので、そこでは話してないことを言いたくて。
昨日から、渋谷に『ガールズバンド日本代表』と、でっっっっっかい看板が飾られました。
日本代表ですって！
すべての思いを受け止めて、日本代表という言葉に恥じないバンドになります。これからもついてきてくださいね。後悔はさせません。
ずっと続けていくということはすごく大変です。が、そこを超えて見せます。本気です。まだまだやれます。やります！！！！！！！！！！！！
もうびっくりマークじゃ表しきれないよ！！

とにかく、今あなたのSTANDARDはSCANDALじゃないかもしれない。ですがこのアルバム聴いてください、STANDARDにさせて見せます。……………だってこのアルバムかっこいいもん！笑

Finally finally finally finally this day is here.
Finally, today, 10/2, SCANDAL'S NEW ALBUM 『STANDARD』 is on sale!!
It's our 5th album.
We've released albums each year since our debut.
The feelings that we want to send everyone of the present SCANDAL haven't changed, and we newly worked on our feelings for this album after Osaka-Jo Hall.
Osaka-Jo Hall, our dream that we constantly talked about. That alone was our dream, and I'm so happy that everyone that always supports us said that SCANDAL's dream was their dream too. I'm glad that it came along.
The moment that we stood on stage with our dream coming true at the same time, it actually was more of a checkpoint than our dream.
You guys pulled us along to Osaka-Jo Hall too. It was thanks to you guys.
That's why next we really want to bring everyone that always follows us to Osaka-Jo Hall.
Those kinds of feelings were born.
We want to convey feelings of thanks getting off to a new start together with this album.
To be able to meld it with everyone's days, to turn them into your songs, we painstakingly created lyrics and songs.
We're confident.
I want many people to listen to it.

I don't mean to be hard, but I feel that the band called SCANDAL was reborn by making this album.
It's a total of 13 songs from pop songs to rock songs! It's full of volume! About the contents, we've talked about them in magazines, TV, and here, so we want to say things there that we haven't before.
Starting yesterday, a huuuuuuuge 『Japan girls' band representative』 sign has been hung up in Shibuya.

Reacting to all of these thoughts, we're a band that might not live up to "representative of Japan." Please keep following us. You won't regret it.
Continuing on is pretty hard. But . We're serious. There's still much more we can do. We'll do it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
