「Image」 is out
Theme：TOMOMI
「Image」 is outー!
And yesterday, its release day, was my mom's birthday!
Apologies! That's a personal matter!
How I've looked forward to the day it would reach everyone.
Have you already listened to itー?
This is what we want to express the most right now.
SCA-chan's currently in a positive mode.
At our arena performances this past June, it felt like we were able to release everything we had accumulated little by little.
When we finished our second day at Yokohama Arena, we were filled with the desire to take our next step, and we imagined a better future than now.
It was then that MAMI wrote 「Image」
It perfectly fits how we feel.
We wanted to make it the background music for our next step.
We were like, "We have no choice but to release this now!" as we were recording it.
Finally! We were able to release it!
I'm so happy.
We put our all into it.
In contrast to that, the B-side 「Nai Nai Night 2014」 is a super laid-back song
It's our most laid-back, most analog-like song, and song with the shortest production time.
At any rate, it's because it was made in five minutes. haha
That's because
The members did meetings via e-mail every day until morning during the production period for our album as well as "Image"
We'd have work to do early in the morning the next day, but it seemed like the meeting was still going to continue. TOMOMI (24), who thought that if she didn't sleep soon then she'd be pulling an all-nighter, made it on the spot just to tell the members "I'm at my limit. I'm going to sleep."
I never thought we'd actually record it. I'm a bit embarrassed. Ah
But we recorded it all at once with various instruments such as MAMI on the recorder, RINA on the cajon, HARUNA on the guiro, me on the tambourine, our manager on the slide whistle, our roadie on the shaker--and I'm happy since it turned out to be a cheerful song.
It'd make me happy if you enjoyed the gap between these two songs on this single.
We also went to some CD stores to pay our respects.

「Image」発売ー！
そして発売日の昨日は私の母のお誕生日！
失礼！私事！
みんなの手元に届く日をどれだけ楽しみにしていたことか。
もう聴いてくれたかなー？
これが今私達の1番表現したいこと。
すきゃちゃん、今、前向きモードです。
6月に行ったアリーナ公演で、今まで少しずつ積み上げてきたものを全部出し切れたような気がしたんです。
横浜アリーナの2日目を終えた時点で、次のステップを踏み出したい気持ちが溢れてきたし、今よりもっと良い未来をイメージしてた。
そんな時にMAMIが作ってくれたのが「Image」
自分たちの気分にぴったりだったのよ。
次のステップに向かうBGMにしたかった。
これは今出すしかない！と思ってレコーディングしました。
やっと！出せた！
嬉しいです。
渾身の1曲。
と対照的に、何の気合も入ってないゆっるゆるのカップリング「ないないNight 2014」
私達史上最もゆるく、最もアナログで、最も製作時間の短い曲です。
なんせ、5分で作ったからね。笑
というのも、
Image含め、アルバムの制作期間に毎日メンバーと朝までメールでミーティングをしていたんだけど、
次の日早朝からお仕事が入っていて、でもまだミーティングは続きそうで、だけどそろそろ寝ないと徹夜する事になると思ったTOMOMI(24)が、「そろそろ限界ですよ、寝ますよ」という事をメンバーに伝える為だけにその場で作ったものだから。
レコーディングするなんて思ってなかった。ちょっと恥ずかしい。きゃ
だけど、MAMIのリコーダーとか、RINAのカホンとか、HARUNAのギロとか、私のタンバリンとか、マネージャーのスライドホイッスルとか、ローディーのシェイカーとか、色んな楽器を使って一斉にレコーディングして、楽しげな曲になったから良かった。
今回のシングルはギャップを楽しんでもらえたら嬉しいです。
CDショップにもよろしくしてきたよ。
