I´m sure you will love it if you enjoy the classic J-RPG game genre. Great story without being unnecessarily complicated and a simple fun battle system. The music is also spectacular due to Nobuo Uematsu.
On a side note: I have actually met Uematsu and Masashi Hamauzu on a FF orchestra concert here, I had them sign my games. The concert was really amazing with a newly created compilation of music from FF6, FF7 and FF10. If any of you get the opportunity to go to such a concert I can highly recommend it.

I would have to say Final Fantasy 9, followed very closely by Valkyrie Profile 2 Silmeria.
It's always hard to pick my favorite, I feel bad leaving so many great ones out.

uff... i cant say what is the Best... i Like, SW:KOTOR, Dragon Age, Chrono Trigger, Baldurs Gate, the Elder Scrolls, Vampire the Maskerade, Mass Effekt, Das Schwarze Auge(i dont know is the name in other Countrys a other or Translated), and any old Games
