I have the free membership which emails me a Word of the Day and an occasional free lesson. Because I'm taking an actual weekly class I don't dive into this site too much, but it's well reviewed, and from what I have experienced it could be a good alternative to a class.
I've been a paid member of jpod101 for many years now, the feature set they offer with the premium package is very nice, its great that I have someone on the other side who I can converse with, of course it's not cheap. But it's cheaper then a lot of other options and you always want to wait for the black friday sale.
