SCANDAL holds their annual Christmas live - 「Let's make this a stronger, more awesome "Best Christmas"!」
SCANDAL held 『BEST★Xmas 2017』, their annual Christmas live, on 12/24 at Mynavi BLITZ Akasaka. This performance is a special solo live held once a year by SCANDAL for Christmas.
The live began with 「Koisuru Universe」, their digital-only single that was released in October. HARUNA excited the crowd with, 「Let's all just have fun today! There are many Christmas lives being held around the country, but let's make this a stronger, more awesome "best Christmas" than any other Christmas live!」
This performance was different from both an ordinary solo live and a Christmas live. The members, who have a dance & vocal school background, did a "special live packed with things only they are able to do" with a cover song corner where they put down their instruments and danced and sung with all their strength, as well as a quiz corner, living up to the cheers of the packed crowd.
Additionally, halfway through the live they debuted their new song 「Platform Syndrome」 that will be included on their new album 『HONEY』 out next year on 2/14. This was surely a happy Christmas present for the fans at the venue.
SCANDAL spent 2017 playing their first 47 prefecture tour, appearing at festivals, and holding a joint band tour. Next year they will be holding their first hall tour in three years in support of their new album.
