I think this should be a good spot to give SCANDAL fans a heads up on covers of SCANDAL material done by other artistes/bands.

I'll start off with Girlfriend's rendition of LOVE SURVIVE.

I loved Girlfriend right from the start and loved the video of when they actually meet SCANDAL
They are pretty talented for their age and are even starting to develop their own style now, I shall watch their progress with interest.

^Girlfriend's Love Survive cover is amazing, I felt they even improved on the post-bridge chorus by making the drums-only sound clearer.

Goosehouse's covers are great - they always do it their own way, which is what covers should be like.

Anyhoo, back to topic. Chelsy was a band that started about 7 years ago and I first came upon them performing with miwa on some TV show. I was in Tokyo 6 years ago when they did a mini performance at Tower Records in Shibuya but I only knew about it too late IIRC. They were an OK band but unfortunately none of their material stood out IMHO and they've now called it a day.

This is them doing (an abridged ver of) DOLL.

I love Goose House covers especially when they let their male singers sing the songs originally done by a female vocalist!

Meanwhile, a cool rock band from Hong Kong called Choco did a cover of Scandal Baby back in 2013. They made a good job despite very few noticeable flaws.

I knew that they are Chinese because of their facial features. But, their accent is really good. It's a shame that Choco has been inactive for almost four years.

^ yes totally agree with you! One fun thing I always look out for in different-sex covers is whether the covering artiste changes any pronouns used in the song e.g. from "her" to "him" [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] but can't tell for Scandal covers since I don't understand Japanese.. didn't even realize Choco wasn't singing the correct lyrics to Scandal Baby until after reading the YouTube comments on their video lololol [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] 

Apart from more established bands like Girlfriend or Goose House covering them for fun, Scandal has probably inspired many girls and women across the world to take up music too, would be great to see some of these covers even though they're more obscure [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

A Taiwanese band called Thousand Kicks has a few good Scandal covers too. Never noticed this until recently, but [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] they mentioned they had actually opened for Scandal during Scandal's Taiwan stop of the "Hello World" tour in 2015. Anyone got to see them in action?
