You can trade your beta invites (if they are on your steam inventory) for about 2 keys each. If they are only beta keys (numbers) then you can give those away xD

dota 2 is too addictive!!!

I watched that big dota 2 tournament that was on twitch.tv not too long ago.
All I remember from the stream were that "buy-backs" and "BKB's" were a pretty big deal #clueless. LOL

BKB is definitely a big deal, BKB makes you immune to most spells in the game for 10 seconds, it gradually goes down after each use 10/8/6/5/4 (i think) so its pretty key for a carry to have it.

Buybacks is to pay gold to revive instantly instead of waiting, this is also pretty key as you can die and instantly be back ready to fight again.

Hmm, I wonder who on SH is still active at Dota 2 at the moment (beside the few people I know about)? Looks like the talk here died out way before I started playing the game, which is a pity. Beside sharing steam accounts, there also should be a lot to say about the game, or am I wrong?

I don't know if this is a cry in wilderness, but I wish people would say more here! Something like... There was a Bristleback bot on the enemy team of my most recent bot-game! :-O It was a ridiculously dragging match, so now I immediately know what a fed Bristleback bot gets. He ended up with Heart Of Tarrasque, Power Treads, Vanguard, Assault Cuirass, Shiva's Guard and Sacred Relic. I really hope he was about to make a Radiance and not a Divine Rapier! Not that it is any better at that point.

Anyway, I didn't know about this new bot and at first I didn't notice him at all! When he got a killing spree I suddenly recognized his tiny image. Has anyone else encountered Bristleback in a bot game, too?

Actually i tried to find a Bristleback bot yesterday but didn't get one after 10 try so i decided to go try the new 1v1 practice mod. Finding match is really long! Found a game after 10 minutes. Was a great match, 1v1 Magnus vs Meepo mid only. Won getting the two kills on Meepo.

This game is too hard.

But... I do play... on rare occasions.

I've been trying to get into Dota 2 recently (I usually play League) and I've been working through the heroes and doing the A-Z challenge on bots to learn each heroes abilities.  It's fun so far! But some of the mechanics are difficult for me.

If anyone plays on the Australian servers, let me know!  We can play together!

Is the 1-vs-1 fun/worth to do? Up to now, I've only been complaining about how redundant that feature is, so I haven't checked it out (yea, the logic). ^^

I'm not playing on the Australian servers, but I guess it doesn't really matter much. Since a couple of months Dota scares you with ping time (instead of waiting time) for the servers, but I'm permanently playing on East-Asian server without much difficulties. You should really join us with playing! Also, it is nice you are doing the A-Z challenge, I always sticked to particular heroes from the beginning and was too lazy (and stubborn) to try them all, haha.

For the former, I can't really judge you on that, I'd say I'm horrible at adapting to changes during the game... I always stick with a cookie cutter build regardless on the hero.

My presence exceptional...? Not really because if there were the case, everyone would be trying to gank me... something I wouldn't want LOL

It's when you go through all the heroes alphabetically - most people start at A, but you could start at Z and work backwards or anywhere in between.  

For an extra challenge, people often will play through each hero, but will not move to the next one until they have won a game with them. So if you lose, you keep playing the same hero until you win!

I think Valve is actually adding this in as a real game mode/challenge soon, so keep an eye out!
