hmm.. first anime would be back in the 90s.. im not sure if it was voltes v or mojacko or akazukin chacha XD as you all know, i've been an otaku since i was kindergarten XD

The first anime film I saw was Vampire Hunter D - it was actually being shown late one night on a premium channel here in the US.

The first anime series I watched was Gundam Wing when it was being broadcast in the afternoons on Cartoon Network. Since I was only in middle school, it never even really occurred to me it was Japanese anime, so for a long time I considered Cowboy Bebop to be my first anime - and since it remains my most favorite anime of all time, it has as special a place as ever. Love

YES! Doraemon was my very first anime too! love the music plays at the beginning of the episode when it shows the name of the item! have it as my ringtone hahaha UHUH!

Either Hamtaro which was on at Cartoon Network at 6:00 am when I used to wake up to go to high school or it was The Prince of Tennis at Animax or maybe even Saint Seiya/Dragon Ball cant recall exactly :l

Agreed, I always have a crush on Sailor Mars for some reason, must be the fire spells =p That and I don't really remember the exact name but Samurai Pizza Cats (?) and Pokemon got me a bit into anime. However Lucky Star got me liking anime again after taking a couple of years off it.

Mine was Yu-gi-oh! And up till now I'm still following all the way as it went past Yu-gi-oh! GX and now, Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's. Not only that I've spent a few hundred constructing my deck till it's almost unstoppable and am gonna test it out in a tournament next year lol.

i think doraemon would be some of everyone's first.it's one of the oldest one
as well as gundam,sailor moon,dragonball,and samurai x
