テーマ：RINA
学生のみなさん、
そろそろ学校スタートしたころですか？
また始まった
早起きやテストや部活や校則。
めんどくさい盛り合わせ。
でもちょっと羨ましいです。
学生時代って長く思えるけど、
考えてみたらほんの一瞬やから
やりたいこといっぱいやってね。
学校といえば小中高のほかに、
わたしはダンス&ボーカルスクールの記憶がつよく残ってます。
このバンドを組むきっかけをくれた場所です。
中学三年生の５月にレッスン生になりました。
いちばん下の新人強化クラスで、
毎週１回数時間のダンスとボーカルのレッスン。
大きなスピーカーからはR&BやHipHop、
ジャージの裾を少しまくって、
全身がうつる鏡張りの部屋に余裕な顔して毎回いちばん乗りで、
先生の真後ろベストポジションを奪ってました。
…が、クラスでも抜群に下手くそでした。
「このまま練習してたら上手くなるんかなー？」
とか思いながら、
同じスクールの先輩たちのステージを見に行ってました。
そこには、
TOMOMI やMAMIやHARUNAの姿があって、
「うわー、あの人らスゲー！」
ってな感じで、ずっと眺めてました。
ある日、
自分のクラスのレッスンが終わった帰り道スタッフさんに呼び止められました。
「ドラムやってみない？」
(ラッキー。)
多分、あの時ラッキーって思いました。
もうダンスしんでいいかもって。
それからドラムをはじめて、
毎日新しく出来ることが増えるのが自分でもわかってそれが快感で。
スクールが休みの日も、
ひとりで毎日毎日行って、
電子ドラムを借りては両手にマメをつくりました。
それから、何日か経ったとき、
またスタッフさんに呼び止められました。
「メンバーに逢ってきたら？」
指差されたドアをあけました。
すると、３人が居ました。
んー…こんな人たちとは出来ないな、
RINAの分際で。
って、めっちゃ思いました。笑
でも、すっごい嬉しかった。
そこから、
４人で鳴らす楽しさに出逢って、
気付けばバンドになりました。
バンドしながらもダンスのレッスンとかしてたんやけど、
上手く踊れないのがめちゃくちゃ悔しくて、
毎回スタジオで泣いて困らせてた。
わたしより上手い子だらけの中でなんでやらなアカンねやろ、
ってついてけない自分にイライラした。
今考えたらどれもこれも、
可愛い悩みに思えるんやけど、
何て言うんやろ…
学生の時とかって色んなことにとても敏感で自分のコントロールも自由に出来ないから難しいです。
でも、きっと、
ぜんぶ必要でステキな道のりやったなあ。
と、感じられるようになりました。
こんな話を書けるようになることも、
昔の自分は信じられないと思う。
わたしにそのスクールをすすめてくれた、
この世界に入るきっかけになった人に４年ぶりに逢いました。
わたしの色んな時代を知ってる人で、
たくさんチャンスをくれた人です。
一緒に思い出話をしながら、
ご飯を食べていっぱい笑いました。
帰り際、
「３月２８日に武道館やるんです。」
って、言ってみました。
そしたら、
両手を差し出して泣いてくれました。
ヒトの夢に涙を流せるヒトって、
すごくカッコイイなと思った。
誰も予想出来なかったようなことが
次々と巻き起こる世界です。
ずいぶん変わった毎日に見えるかもしれないけど、
何にも変わってない自分が居ます。
両手じゃ足りない想いをのせて、
まずは武道館で魅せます。
一瞬やから見逃さないでね。

Students,
Is it about time that school started up again?
Starting again
Waking up early, tests, club activities, school regulations, etc.
An assortment of bothers.
But I'm a little envious.
It might seem that the time spent being a student is long,
But if you think about it, it's really only an instant
So do a lot of what you want to do, okay.
Speaking of school, and besides elementary/middle/high school,
The memories from when I went to dance & vocal school strongly remain.
It's where we were given the chance to form this band.
I started lessons in May of my third year of middle school.
In the very bottom rookie strengthening class,
Once every week there was a dance and vocal lesson.
R&B and HipHop coming from large speakers,
We rolled up the hems of our jerseys a little bit,
Every time in the highest mood with composed faces in a room with full body length mirrors,
And we fought for the best position, which was behind the teacher.
...but, the class was outstandingly bad at it.
「If I practice like this, will I become betterー?」
While thinking that,
I went to see the senpai-tachi in the same school on stage.
TOMOMI, MAMI, and HARUNA were there,
「Uwaー, those people are awesomeー!」
In that sort of feeling, I had always gazed at them.
One day,
After my classes and lessons were over and I was going home, a staff person called me to a halt.
「Have you tried playing the drums?」
(Lucky.)
That time I was thinking I was probably lucky.
And was wondering if it'd be okay to not dance anymore.
After that I started the drums,
Every day I understood that I was increasing new things I could do, which was a pleasant feeling.
On days off from school too,
Every single day I went by myself,
I borrowed electronic drums, and with both hands I created diligence.
After that, when several days had passed,
The staff person again called me to a halt.
「Can you come and meet some members?」
The door they pointed at opened.
There were 3 people there.
"Hmー...I can't do it with these people, huh,
With RINA's social standing."
Is what I excessively thought about. haha
But, I was really happy.
From there,
The 4 of us played and had fun,
And before we knew it we had become a band.
While being in the band, we had our dance lessons too,
But it's regrettable that I couldn't dance well,
And every time in the studio, troubled, I would cry.
Everyone else was better than I was and I thought it was hopeless,
So I was irritated with myself.
If I think about it now,
They seem like cute problems,
But how can I say it...
When you're a student, many things are very sensitive, and since you can't freely have your own control, it's difficult.
But, surely,
Everything was a necessary, fantastic journey, huh.
I think it was so that I can feel like this now.
Even being able to write out talks like this,
I don't think the old me would believe it.
I was encouraged to join that school,
And about 4 years later I met the people that became the opportunity to enter this world.
The people that know about my various times,
And the people that have given me many chances.
While having reminiscent talks together,
We ate and laughed a lot.
When I was about to go back,
「We're playing Budokan on 3/28.」
I tried saying.
Then,
With both hands held out, they cried.
People that can shed tears when hearing of peoples' dreams,
I thought it was so cool.
No one could have expected such a thing
The world is continuously unfolding.
It might seem that every day has changed quite a bit,
But nothing has changed about me.
With both hands, then sending out insufficient feelings,
First is to bewitch at Budokan.
Don't miss this moment, okay.
