Drum seminar
Theme：RINA

Continuing from last year, we had a drum seminar in Osaka for the second time.

I'm glad we were able to do it this year as well♪
Truly, owing to everyone,
Thank you.
It was sold out for the second year in a row,
And I think that's amazingー. I'm happy.

From our new album,
The four selected songs were done as a special medley with a Roland V-DRUM and Pearl live twin drums.

By the way,

Was what the set list was like.

We used various softs, messed about with drums, practiced with everyone, did a Q&A, and also had an hour and a half talk.
Lastly, we turned the solo song I did at Budokan into a new band arrangement and extended it a tiny bit; it was like a solo showdown.
Today we used 4 types of various drums! Wonderful!

About half of the audience were experienced in drums.
I think that's a little bit more than last year.
There were also people whose first time was today.
Though inexperienced, I think coming interested with that curiosity and courage is very wonderful.

Since an opportunity to see a performance from that close up doesn't happen that often,
I want to continue on just like thisー.
Since it's at such a point-blank range, I'm very embarrassed on the inside while trying to show off. haha
But I really do love being able to see everyone's sparkling eyes.

Many people lined up for the autograph session after it ended.

Though the time spent with each person was very little,
Being able to hear your voices while looking at your eyes like that is pretty great. It becomes energy.

People who always come to lives, people who came for the first time.
I'm glad I got to meet all kinds of people in a different way than on tour.

I know nothing about playing the drums, but I would love the opportunity to learn even the basics from a pro like Rina with real life stage experience. A professional can save you a lot of "Hard Knocks" learning time by telling you what "NOT" to do, because they already made those mistakes.

jokes aside, looks like she's enjoying it. Very nice. Maybe she should consider being a music teacher in the future, after SCANDAL :D

Oh god, one day I hope I'll be able to see your sparkling eyes and speak to you, Rina ; u;

Prior to knowing SCANDAl, I had little interest in instruments. I wanted to play piano, but after seeing Mami and Haru, I now want to play the guitar.

But then, sometimes I really want to learn how to play the drums because of Rina haha!
