Copy Band Contest
Theme：MAMI

It's late, but on 12.09 we held
The Copy Band & Vocalist Contest @ Shibuya AX

It was wonderful!!!
The participating bands are getting pretty powerful year after year
We too are surprised hahaha
The grand prix this time was the Osaka band DOLL.
They chose "Appletachi no Dengon"!!
They included brass and considerably minute instrument phrases.
This song is a difficult song, to say the least.

DOLL was awesomeー! Coolー!! haha
The strength of the vocals, the performance, a stable band!!
It was overwhelming! (((o(*ﾟ▽ﾟ*)o)))
Their appeal, power, technique, and vocal power were amazing!
Like coming to a normal DOLL LIVE
I had fun. haha
Ahーawesome!!!

At this SCANDAL sponsored event
Standing on the same stage together
I have a feeling there's no extent to how much everyone will growー! (((o(*ﾟ▽ﾟ*)o)))
I'm looking forward to it!

But the middle and high school students are seriously awesome!
Really, from I was around that age
To think that everyone can play instrumentsー!

I'm feeling the same as Mami... I'm not really involved in playing any instrument until I was graduating elementary... And my musical skills never really improved during high school. Well, a few informal lessons here and there, but it wasn't really enough. I wasn't contented with anything, so I just stopped. Worse, my guitar broke into pieces... My dad repaired it, but it was never the same.

But I got motivated again to play instruments through SCANDAL. I should find a way to continually improve my skills, as they have done back when they have just been starting to form a band.
