As everybody here loves SCANDAL, I assume you guys have a decent musical taste. Happy

So, more than a decade after disbanding, the greatest band ever is back!

Well, technically, they were back for a couple of years now, with some isolated concerts here and there, but now it's a even more solid come back!

Ladies and gentleman, SIAM SHADE released a NEW SONG with a NEW PV!

Now, if you don't know them yet, stop everything you are doing and fix that right away! I'll help a little:

Formed on early 1990's, SIAM SHADE started as a visual kei band, but quickly adopted more "moderated" visuals. Here's a curiosity about them, as this is a SCANDAL forum: one of their early songs was given for free at their first one-man live, and was titled "Doll". It has absolutely nothing to do with SCANDAL's DOLL, but hey, it's something. ROFL

If you've been watching anime for some time, you may have heard one of their songs. 1/3 no Junjou na Kanjou was used as an ending theme for the famous Rurouni Kenshin series, or Samurai X in the west.

The dream of all members since SIAM SHADE's formation was to perform on Nippon Budokan, which they achieved on 2001. Soon enough, they announced SIAM SHADE would disband after a last live again on Budokan.

Some concerts happened years after that. In 2007, the band performed in honor of their manager, who passed away in april. Then, they held concerts to bring hope to the victims of the earthquake and tsunami that occurred in 2011.

SIAM SHADE announced a nationwide tour to be performed this year, called Siam Shade Live Tour 2013 ~Siam Shade Heart of Rock 7~. If this is was not enough of a come back, now they released a new song!

HIDEKI: vocals, likes to shout random non-existant words during MCs
DAITA: genius guitarrist
KAZUMA: guitar, chorus, may perform funny dances during various songs
NATIN: bass, leader and overall badass
JUNJI: he is the guy buried under a huge set of drums

To pump things up, here's what rock should sound like. PRIDE, performed on their 2011 reunion concert, SPIRITS ~Return the Favor~

From their second to last live, back in 2001, one of their most famous songs and ending theme to Rurouni Kenshin, 1/3 no Junjou na Kanjou:

SIAM SHADE has a vast repertoire of fast, rock songs, but the band is also capable of composing songs that tend to the slow, beautiful side of things, as Life:

If you are already a fan, let's celebrate the return of the greatest band ever! And if you don't know them yet, hope this topic helps in introducing to you an excellent rock band!
