The single is great. Departure has a puissant rythm and Rainy is a very good rock song with a wonderful solo.
The lives in bonus is energic. I love so much their live of doll  .smile.

I think the arenas helped hehe!   

It's only the 4th time one of their single is ranked in the week #10. Previously only "anime" songs did that (Shoujo S, Shunkan and Pride) with 447 copies, 412 and 246.

They need 979 more to equal Awanai but that is probably not going to happen lol ^^ Need 340 more to beat the 40k mark... hum that would be awesome but will be difficult too unless it keeps on ranking for 2-3 weeks. Maybe with the help of the YokoAri re-broadcast and the special day on WOWOW? Let's hope so.

But #2 single ever that's huge IMO even if it's close and just stats, it still means something. Congrats SCANDAL and MAMI-chan!

Hopefully the resounding success of the self made single gives them that much more confidence to continue creating songs from scratch

Listened to both songs over and over before making this review.

Departure shows the band's musical maturity. Pretty much of a pop rock song expanded by an orchestra. But you have to love Mami's funk and R&B influenced riffs that stood out in the entire song!

Rainy in the other hand, is pretty good hard rock song. Although, I found the guitar solo way too short.

Sadly, there's none. Maybe, Sony Music Philippines did not bother to release any for the Philippine market. I have downloaded a few Songs on iTunes (U.S.) though.
